As Cathie Wood says, I expect 2026 to be a year of correction, and this will become especially clear once interest rate hikes are back in the conversation. Inflation isn’t nearing the 2% target—in fact, it’s likely to rise again. For now, many companies have absorbed the impact of tariffs themselves, avoiding proportional price increases for consumers. But in the coming months, we’ll start seeing more businesses pass those costs along, raising prices at the end of the chain. What remains to be seen is whether the new FED chairman chosen by Trump will have the ‘power’ to raise interest rates or not 👀
