UK inflation slowed down for the second month in a row, to two-point-six per cent in March - on the back of falling petrol prices. The Office for National Statistics said a drop in the price of computer games also contributed to the lower inflation reading.

So does that mean it no longer costs £7 for a pint and £3.50 for a coffee and £4 for a bit of cake?.... or is it just that the middle class pay a bit less for their granite topped kitchen units and Apple Watches and so have more to put into heir ISAs? #inflation
