Not sure how anyone can watch this clip and think the Eagles drafted someone to play off-ball linebacker Jihaad Campbell will get snaps everywhere but he is an Eagle bc of his upside as an EDGE Howie (basically) references Micah Parsons and Abdul Carter when discussing Campbell

Per usual, I think you’re trying to make this a black or white topic. He was likely drafted for his ability to do both and provide versatility for Fangio. Not everything in life needs to be one sided where someone is right and the other is wrong.

Tell is that the Eagles had Washburn interview him and not King.

He’s a complete LB who can rush the passer

That’s fair. Last night I eye rolled your take, but that might be where he plays. Just thought with Dean’s future which really hasn’t been talked about, this was a good, versatile pick.

Campbell was a pass rusher when he went to Alabama , he switched to off ball linebacker because Alabama had so many pass rushers

Malaki Starks is a fine pick but I am disappointed the Ravens did not take Campbell. It’s interesting to watch the Ravens juxtaposed against Philly in the draft. The Ravens got Philly with Hamilton vs Jordan Davis, but I think the Eagles did them better here.

At first I doubted @Ethancarterusa his skill speaks for itself. moves with confidence and logic. Already reached a six-figure profit.

Scouts believe Arvell Reese is “not in the league of Micah Parsons,” and I have to say I agree (via Bob McGinn) It’s not unlikely the Jets draft him #2 overall, but that’s due to how WEAK this draft class is more than it is Reese being an immediate superstar in the NFL. Reese is raw and inexperienced as an edge rusher, but I’m not sure his off-ball LB play warrants him being drafted so high either. While he can be an elite linebacker, his upside getting after the QB is what the Jets will actually covet:

HEARTBREAKING: #Patriots rookie tackle Will Campbell was visibly emotional and angry as he walked off the field after losing the Super Bowl. A team staffer attempted to console Campbell and he was not having it. Will returned from an MCL tear this season.

I think this play is a pretty good illustration of the difference in athleticism between Trotter and Campbell. Both take a hard step toward the run action side, but Campbell is able to recover and mirror his guy (a WR) to the sideline while Trotter isn't able to do the same to the TE he is covering. He does slip a bit as he tries to change direction, but Campbell just looks so much more fluid.

This is as accurate and honest an analysis of Anas Sarwar's budget capitulation as you'll get. Colin Mackay does what Glenn Campbell doesn't, he calls it as it is. Glenn Campbell is too close to Scottish Labour. He's acting as a de-facto spokesperson for Sarwar. In doing so he isn't just compromising his own integrity, he's compromising the integrity of colleagues.

Abdul Carter looks absolutely TERRIFYING heading into the NFL Draft. Carter called his shot a few days ago, proclaiming himself as the No. 1 overall pick. Lance Deane - NFL trainer who also works with Micah Parsons has trained Abdul Carter. Many NFL scouts reportedly believe Carter is “the best overall prospect” in this year’s class over names like Travis Hunter, Shedeur Sanders, and Cam Ward. With some scouts believing there to be “shades” of Micah Parsons, Myles Garrett, and TJ Watt in Carter’s game. The Penn State edge is DIFFERENT 😳 (Via Coach Lance Deane)

Emmett Johnson is expected to receive more snaps, gradually reducing Kenneth Walker III's workload as the Chiefs seek a fresher two-back balance. Andy Reid: “The other part is allowing Emmett to grow. And so I think Emmett will continue to get more snaps, and that'll take a little bit of the load off Kenny. But he wants that ball. He wants the ball every play. Ken does, and he's not asking to be relieved or anything else. But I think as it goes on, you get a nice balance with those two in there, and then it keeps them even more fresh as the season goes on.”

Gordon Campbell, former BC Liberal Premier, to a scowling Rosie "But I'll tell you, my grandkids deserve to have a government that's thinking about them, not thinking about debt, not thinking about expediently taking care of this group or that group." "How are we building the future for Canada?" "That's what I'm voting for. And I think that Mr. Poilievre has the platform that will get us there. Former B.C. premier Gordon Campbell." You are going to hear a lot about Hurts/Sirianni being 1-4 vs Tampa Bay but there is one major factor missing to that: AJ Brown didn’t play in any of the 4 losses and was a monster in the one game he did play in which was an easy Eagles win. The only time AJ has played the Bucs as an Eagle was in 2023 when he had 9 catches for 131 yard as the Eagles handled the Bucs 25-11. Here are some of his best plays from that game to remind us how he can destroy this same Bucs defense:

Abdul Carter already looks like a walking NIGHTMARE for opposing QB’s. Carter’s burst off of the edge has reportedly been “terrifying” and has been dominating the first-team offensive line throughout practices. Carter has reportedly been finding his way into the backfield “more times than not” and has pulled out moves opposing OT’s simply could not handle. One NFL scout reportedly believes there’s “shades” of both Von Miller and Micah Parsons (Cowboys LB) in Carter’s game. Not to mention, one source close to the situation reportedly believes it “wouldn’t be surprising” if Carter was the Giants most productive defender as a rookie. The Giants rookie OLB is an absolute FREAK of a talent 😳

Jonah Savaiinaea is a very intriguing OL prospect at 6-5 336 lbs but can play OT & OG He pops off right away as an exceptional pass blocker and due to his ability to play all over the line, he seems very in tune with DL stunts He might struggle with elite speed off the edge but his versatility is great and could see him as a big time guard at the NFL This dude is SOLID

We ran the ball pretty good yesterday but there was more hay to be had. Gainwell has been a godsend for this team and offense. All he does is produce, but he missed one here on the first run play of the game. This is an example of how an OL can block something up as intended, and it still not get the yardage it should, due to timing and patience. It got better as the game went on. Importance of sticking with the run…especially in December/January. #HereWeGo

This is what a pitching coach does when he is *definitely* checking the camera angle to make sure it’s lined up right, and *definitely not* using it as an excuse to get slow-mo shots of his knuckleballs

"This is why I think there will eventually be criminal proceedings" - Ches Crosbie In a recent interview with Dr. John Campbell and NCI Administrator Ches Crosbie, Dr. Campbell suggests that Health Canada and the Government of Canada ought to want an inquiry to "exonerate themselves and show how brilliant their performance was throughout the pandemic." Does their reluctance to investigate the consequences of COVID-19 measures provide any evidence? Watch the full interview here: #cdnpolitics

Want your mind blown? Watch this clip of Robert Monroe guiding Tom Campbell to an alternate reality. Two legends. One epic encounter. When Tom has to explain to the being in the alternate reality, that he has a physical body back on a physical planet and it has an itch on its neck and that’s why his astral body is distracted and fading in and out… And the interdimensional woman is like “ok psycho”… lol

We must separate the actions of an individual from their community. When someone says hateful and divisive things, don’t blame his community, or anyone else. Instead, hold the person accountable as an individual. An individual's hateful speech is their own. Governor Kahiga's tribal utterances represent him and him alone. Do not assign his views to anyone else. He speaks for himself, not for Kenyans.
