Note the language that Trump uses: "Until last night it was looking good (Strong Ukraine), but they took a big hit last night. (Strong Russia)" Trump will support the winning side. Trump won't be caught on the losing side. US will support Ukraine if Europeans act from strength and... show more

Journalist: Did you discuss Ukraine with President Xi? Any movement on that? Trump: We discussed it, we'd like to see it settled. Until last night it was looking good, but they took a big hit last night. So it's going to happen, but it's a shame. 25,000 people died last month.

For months, Trump has publicly humiliated Ukraine and Zelensky, claiming “Russia is winning” and “Ukraine doesn’t have the cards.” But the last 48 hours, with successful strikes on the Russian airbases and the Crimean Bridge, proved him wrong. Ukraine can win. Ukraine will win. Victory will come faster if the U.S. and Europe give it the weapons it needs and impose real, crippling sanctions on Russia.

REP. BACON: President Trump wants to negotiate settlement between Ukraine and Russia, acting like referee in boxing match, but that’s not the case. There’s good versus evil here. Russia invading Ukraine, bombing cities every night. America should be unashamedly on the right side — the side of democracy, the side of Ukraine, country that wants to align with us. Russia hates us. Putin hates United States, hates what we stand for. I don’t know why President Trump can’t see that. I’ve waited year and a half in this Congress to get something done on Ukraine, and we’ve done nothing. There have been no votes, no policies from the leadership here or from President to support a country that is fighting for its life. I agree that Ukraine has the upper hand right now, but Russia is bombing those cities every night, and we should be there to help them defend against these ballistic missile attacks. Actions speak louder than words.

HODGES: Trump administration has failed miserably on Ukraine. They have so clearly been on Kremlin's side. All the pressure has been on Ukraine to make concessions. Fortunately, Ukraine no longer even pays much attention to that. Biden administration missed an opportunity because they never said, "We want Ukraine to win." They had this nonsense, "We're with you for as long as it takes," which means exactly zero. But at least they were providing support. Trump administration is worse and It does feel like they now realize that their approach was doomed from the beginning, because they didn't understand why the war started or how it started. They didn't understand why Ukrainians were fighting the way they were and why the Russians were failing the way they were. So despite Trump administration, I think Ukraine has changed the trajectory of the war. The last thing I'd say is that most European countries realize that the best way to prevent Russia from ever attacking a NATO country is to make sure that Ukraine defeats Russia. I think most people realize that Russia has to be defeated. That Russia will never change until they are actually crushed.

🇺🇦🇮🇷 The timing was not an accident. Ex-JCPOA negotiator Alan Eyre says Zelensky is sending Washington a message that NATO members won't, that Ukraine stands with Trump against Iran. "Unlike NATO members who won't cross the street to help the U.S., Ukraine is in lockstep with the United States, sees Iran as an enemy and is side by side with President Trump." It's unlikely the 2 wars will merge, but Ukraine wouldn't hesitate to hit Iran hard the moment it goes beyond supplying Russia munitions. Alan Eyre

Q: Trump said he had a really good call with President Putin yesterday. Will Russia be aiding us in this conflict? Hegseth: It was a strong call, reaffirming hopefully the opportunity for peace in Russia, Ukraine and also a recognition that as it pertains to this conflict, they should not be involved.

For those wondering why Lindsey Graham is so invested in Ukraine winning and Russians dying: Lindsey Graham was with Deep State McCain in Ukraine in 2016, telling the Ukrainians how they are going to get support from Washington so they can go on the “offensive” against Russia in 2017. Only problem was, Trump won, and the Deep State plan was suspended until Trump was removed. The reason Lindsey has called for Putin to be assassinated and celebrates Russians dying, is because if Russia wins, Lindsey’s corruption in Ukraine will be exposed, and then he’s a dead man.

🇺🇸🇷🇺🇺🇦TRUMP: I BELIEVE PUTIN WANTS PEACE. IT'S MUCH EASIER TO NEGOTIATE WITH RUSSIA THAN WITH UKRAINE. WE HAVE GOOD RELATIONS WITH RUSSIA. I believe Putin, everything is fine with Russia and me. But now they are bombing Ukraine hard. To be honest, it is more difficult for me with Ukraine, and they have no trump cards (c) Donald Trump Trump negatively answered the question about whether Russia is "taking advantage" of the US pause in providing weapons and intelligence to Ukraine Trump, when asked why he does not give Ukraine weapons for self-defense: because I do not see that they will conclude a peace agreement. If they do not want to conclude a deal, then we will not participate in the supplies. Something has to happen on Iran soon. I hope we can make a deal - Trump ❗️ We will "leave" Ukraine if it does not want a settlement of the conflict - Trump "I'm not sure Ukraine wants to negotiate. I want Ukraine to calm down! Money is what comes first for me," Trump emphasized. ❗️Putin did not want to start a conflict in Ukraine — Trump Europe has no idea how to end the conflict in Ukraine, Trump believes. ❗️The United States will cut off aid to Ukraine if Kiev is not ready for a settlement, Trump promised
