Had my first LOOONG road trip experience on V14 over the past week. It drove over 99.9% of all the miles for the whole trip. Holy smokes. It was so good! I don't care how fast an ICE car can fuel up. I NEVER want to drive that far without @tesla FSD again.

Two police officers approached me in Yosemite today and told me I “cannot use FSD” because, according to them, there have been “many accidents” involving it. I highly doubt either of them has spent hundreds of hours using the latest version, bc this is what FSD v14.3.6 was doing for me… smoothly guiding my Cybertruck through Yosemite’s winding roads, slowing before sharp curves, staying centered in its lane and handling the entire drive while I enjoyed the scenery and ready to take over. I told them that I trust this technology to drive me more than I trust myself to manually drive. Of course no technology is accident-free… but the real question is how often accidents happen compared to normal human driving. And according to Tesla’s latest reported safety data, vehicles using FSD (Supervised) travel roughly 7x farther between major collisions than the U.S. average. FSD is still supervised, and the driver remains responsible at all times… but saying the technology is unsafe simply bc accidents have happened ignores the rate, the data and how quickly the system continues to improve. So I gave them both the middle finger and continued my trip on Tesla FSD.

This information was released through a YouTube live broadcast by lawmaker Park Joo-min. This is very good news because I feel that Tesla is very interested in expanding the FSD base in Korea and is working on it. As a Brit, we don't have Tesla FSD (Full Self Driving) yet. So as part of the family holiday, I hired a Cybertruck for 3 weeks to do a bit of a California road trip to see if FSD really is as good as some of the YouTube videos I've seen. We've done over 1000 miles in it so far and WOW... Put some rough clips together to show our Day 1 using it etc. No exaggeration, it drove from Venice Beach in LA all the way to Monterey via Big Sur and then to Lake Tahoe with zero interventions. And loads of little trips as well. It's just incredible. I really cannot wait for FSD to be allowed in the UK. The moment it is likely, I'm buying a brand new Tesla just for FSD. It's really THAT good...

This weekend, I drove all over NYC on Tesla FSD V14.3.4 with zero disengagements. It handled everything flawlessly. In my video below, FSD stops for a child running into the street on his scooter, navigate tight spaces, and more. My Model Y also drove itself on FSD from New Hampshire to NYC and back again without any disengagements. FSD feels like magic, yet so many people have no idea that this technology exists and that it can do stuff like this today.

Here’s my first drive on Tesla FSD V14.2. For the first time on V14, I had zero hesitation or braking issues all day, and no interventions. From a driving perspective, and after 85 miles on and off-camera on V14.2 today, it now feels as comfortable, if not more so, than V13 did, but with all the capabilities of V14. What’s new in FSD V14.2: • Self-Driving stats section that tells you exactly how many Self-Driving miles you’ve driven and the percentage of FSD miles • You can now select speed profiles and parking preferences while in park • Upgraded the neural network vision encoder, leveraging higher resolution features to further improve scenarios like handling emergency vehicles, obstacles on the road, and human gestures • Big improvement (in my experience) to overall everyday driving comfortability • Slightly less strict attention monitoring at times In my opinion, V14.2 is good enough to be sent to every AI4 owner where FSD is legal, and for Tesla to encourage non-FSD owners/subscribers to try it. FSD did have a couple weird navigation decisions it made in my video, but that’s my only complaint. Overall, great version of FSD. 4K YouTube version of my video in thread below:

Forget UPL, it's the Devin's simple right hand turn that FSD needs to master first. I am blown away that software as good as FSD can make mistakes as simple but devastating as this. This is the second time in less than two weeks that FSD has tried to pull infront of a vehicle on a VERY SIMPLE right hand turn. The car drove pretty much flawlessly all day today (3~ hours of driving) but it ends the day with a move like this and it just takes all the confidence I have with FSD away in a simple move. I understand that the version of FSD we have today is not what will be used in Austin in June, but the fact that FSD is making decisions like this and 'full autonomy' is less than 3 months away - it's a bit concerning to me. I would feel a bit better if a near flawless version of FSD existed 'in the wild' for several months before Austin happens, but that's just me. Tesla Model 3 HW4 FSD 13.2.8 Tesla AI Ashok Elluswamy

2412 Florida trip: my first ever FSD ride behind the "steering wheel". I have watched so many videos of , , ΛI DRIVR and Dirty Tesla but experiencing it on my own is a whole different story. It is such an eye-opener for the European folks - just wow!!! Thank you Tesla Tesla North America for having the chance to test drive your vehicles so effortlessly and thanks to the great staff in Tesla Store Miami Design District. This drive was done with FSD v12.5.4.2 on a 2024 Model 3 with AI4. ...please don't judge my video / audio - I am absolute beginner :)

Okay this needs more extensive testing but on a 40 mile interstate loop I’m shocked by what Lucid Motors has done to Gravity. Hands Free Dream Drive is probably only second to Tesla FSD on HIGHWAY INTERSTATES. This is not FSD, but on this section of I-83 it’s damn close. It handles hands free driving, auto-lane changes & is assertive in doing so without being a left lane camper. How big is the footprint that it works? That’s the biggest question, but right now it’s really impressive. It’s beyond Ford BlueCruise, GM Supercruise & similar to Rivian UHF but the auto-lane changes without initiating by signaling is ahead.

TESLA FSD WARNING: ‼️ I need Tesla’s attention on this. It’s an easy fix. Tesla FSD Subscription has a HUGE LOOPHOLE and to me, it’s very dangerous. My subscription was canceled, without my knowledge. I have no strikes - ever. My subscription was automated withdraw. I have money in the account. This was unexpected and the “expectation of having FSD” Is the danger. I found this issue out mid stop light turn. When I thought it was FSD Engaged but it was actually Autopilot. The TINY message pre-drive saying, “Your Autopilot settings have been reset” was not understood. I thought it was in reference to speed settings. It was not. If I had started my drive from my driveway this would have been obvious, but I wait until I’m out of my neighborhood at a speed of 45mph, before I cut it on. At this point it is was not an obvious difference between Auto Pilot and FSD. It BECAME OBVIOUS mid stoplight turn. Tesla needs to fix this. If a subscription is ended, an acknowledgment of the car not having FSD should be required at the BEGINNING of the drive. Fix this Tesla. Sawyer Merritt ALEX Elon Musk

We have yet to see any official cases of V14 being applied outside of the United States and Canada. I've just completed my first FSD run for about an hour. (I've experienced about 10,000km of FSD in the U.S.) Except for the parking lot, there was never a case where I intervened during the FSD drive. The first impression of the FSD that works in Korea is that it is very amazing and a great achievement of the Tesla AI team. Although there was one case where I went off the road without following the navigation, the FSD thought to itself and drove on the right path. The overall experience in Korea was very good, such as turning left, turning right, U turn, joining lanes, and changing lanes. It's kind of like... an American driver driving in Korea on an international driver's license. If more data is generated in the future and the number of users increases, higher achievement of FSD in Korea is very much expected. I can't wait for more people to experience FSD in Korea! (Tesla Korea is a HW4 vehicle that purchased FSD and will update the FSD (Supervised) in the future for vehicles suitable for VIN number 5or7.

I'm proud to announce that I have successfully driven through all 48 contiguous states plus DC in my 2026 Tesla Model Y Juniper on FSD 14.3.2. And I did it solo. Actually, let's be accurate. I rode. FSD drove. 🗓️ May 20-29, 2026. 🗺️ 7,241 official miles. 9 days, 21 hours, 50 minutes. ⚡ Not a single gallon of gas. Not a single steering input. FSD drove every mile. 💵 Total cost: $901 in Supercharger fees. Same trip in a comparable gas SUV: ~$1,303. The moment that defined the trip: the tri-state corner of MT/WY/SD, the most remote stretch of the drive from a Supercharger standpoint. I could have taken a safer route but I wanted to get there on a single charge. I knew the risk. Turned off the AC, sweated through 95°F inside the cabin, arrived at 2%. Cost me a little backtracking to officially enter Wyoming. Worth every mile. 🎯 Call it a Gentleman's Cannonball Run. I pushed hard every single day, but with rules. Sleep every night. No tickets. No driving tired. Highway speeds. Supervising an autonomous system while exhausted is reckless. I know a little something about that. Those aren't arbitrary rules, safety is my first priority. I'm an airline pilot. ✈️ Based on everything I've been able to find, this trip may represent three records worth noting: 🏆 First FSD drive through all 48 contiguous states plus DC. I hesitate posting this for a bunch of reasons, but I think it's good to just be transparent about everything. I love to highlight all of the incredible things that FSD does, but I also think it's good to talk about any issues that it has currently. In my opinion the E2E on the highway needs some major changes. This clip was from my drive yesterday, and it is without a doubt the most dangerous situation that FSD has put me in. Yes, I am aware that it is FSD Supervised - everything that happens in the car is ultimately my responsbility. I just was wanting to see what the car would do, and I was hoping that it would make a better decision to be honest. Let me know what you think.

If it was legal to do so, I’d be 100% comfortable closing my eyes and taking a nap the entire drive. It’s just the honest truth, I’m not hyping anything. Tesla FSD is really that good now. Tesla FSD has now driven more than 8 billion real world miles, including more than 3 billion city miles. In Tesla’s latest safety data, FSD logged about 1 major collision every 5.3 million miles, which Tesla says is about 7x fewer major collisions than the U.S. average. On top of this, Tesla FSD delivers 7x fewer minor collisions and 5x fewer off-highway collisions than the average. It’s significantly safer than anything out there. This AI system is learning from millions of Teslas out in the real world, not from geofenced areas, like literally anywhere a Tesla can drive. Tesla’s vehicles use 360 degree camera visibility, over-the-air updates, and has a neural net that keeps making the system smarter, safer, and better over time, for all Teslas. The FSD experience is so good now that manually driving already feels like the distant past. And once you’ve lived with what so many Tesla owners get to experience every day, going back to any other car feels almost impossible.
