There is nothing more important than Palestine and Gaza right now. There is nothing more important to talk about. There is nothing that should fill the media more than the situation in Gaza and the West Bank. There is nothing politicians should take more responsibility for than Palestine, Gaza, and the West Bank right now. This is not possible, and I told the minister in parliament today that her £5billion cut to disability support would increase hardship in my constituency and is contrary to the values of my party. Ultimately, this Labour government is facing hard limits in doing what is right for our class while appeasing the interests of big business and the wealthy. They are incompatible aims and my party must choose in whose interests we are governing.

If this can happen in one school alone, how much more are we losing across the country? This must end. There is no room for games with taxpayers’ money. Corruption in our local governments must stop. It’s literally passed as a law, called “Greenhouse Gas Pollution Pricing Act” ✅ You can go to jail for a failure to file a return, or comply with demand order ✅ Last I checked, NO LAW has been passed to repeal the Carbon Tax So how can they “kill” a law with no Parliament? ✅ No one voted to repeal it So what precedent does this set when the government can decide to not enforce, or in this case, break their own laws when it’s unpopular and affects their ability to get reelected? This has nothing to do with Canada‘s best interest, if it did, they would’ve ended it years ago but instead they sold it to us as “we get more money back”. This is purely for their own selfish reasons to stay in power. It’s disgusting
