Having long blamed the BJP and the Sangh Parivar for anything that happens in TN under this Corrupt Anti-Hindu DMK Govt, I.N.D.I. Alliance MP Thiru Thirumavalavan has now travelled back over ten centuries to slander the great Chola and Pandya kings, under whose enlightened rule the Tamil language flourished far beyond the geographical boundaries of present-day Tamil Nadu. Such remarks are deeply objectionable. This is an insult to the legacy and pride of the Cholas and Pandyas and Thiru Thirumavalavan’s statement only exposes profound historical ignorance. If he chooses to question whether the name Raja Raja Chola & Rajendra was Tamil, one may well ask whether names like Karunanidhi, Stalin, Udhayanidhi, Dayanidhi, Kalanidhi & others in the Gopalapuram family are Tamil names. If any political coterie has contributed little to the genuine growth and global stature of the Tamil language, it is the DMK and its alliance partners. DMK and its alliance partners must understand that the history of Tamil Nadu did not begin in 1949 when DMK was founded, rather many of the state’s problems began from that point onward.

On alleged information by the Police that there is no ban on carrying cooked food, but a possible ban on transporting sheep and poultry on the hill, NavasKani and his group carried and consumed cooked non-vegetarian food on the hill.

Tuesday was a black day for India. Friday has seen redemption in measures I could not have imagined. For the first time in more than 30 years, a bill introduced by the government has failed to pass in the Lok Sabha. I am glad that it is this bill, which was conceived with malicious intent and without any logic, that has been defeated. Parties that would ordinarily have been convinced of short-term benefits from an increase in seats have upheld oppositon unity to control the dictatorial tendencies of the government. It is a sign that a politics of principles still exists in India, that there is still hope for a brighter future. This is the turning point we have been waiting for. When he launched the election campaign, Chief Minister Thiru M.K.Stalin said “Tamil Nadu shall fight, Tamil Nadu shall win.” Today, I am grateful to say: Tamil Nadu has fought, Tamil Nadu has won. India has fought, India has won. PS: I am glad to be back in a white shirt, as the April heat in Madurai is not conducive to black shirts

SC erroneously ruled that let Mahmudabad's son inherit his property (Mahmudabad was Pakistan's citizen but he sent his son to live in India). P. Chidambaram brought in an ordinance to negate SC verdict. But UPA politics of vote bank prevailed and the ordinance was allowed to lapse. Later BJP government in 2017 brought in the law. Net effect: Due to BJP Government actions, Mahmudabad family has been unable to inherit huge property that Raja of Mahmudabad owned and used it to finance Jinnah and Idea of Pakistan.
