We are just scratching the surface of precise control over AI video generation. MotionStream unlocks real-time video with interactive motion controls. You can interactively generate video based on motion inputs (like drawn trajectories, camera movements, or motion transfer). 29fps generation w/ 0.4 second latency on a single H100, oh and infinite length streaming. So much more intuitive than text prompts. Almost feels like performance capture - painting motion paths and watching AI generated video follow those paths instantly. Amazing work by Xun Huang et al. Feels like we're on the cusp of a new type of creation engine. And let me tell you - it ain't all nodes :-)

GMT (General Motion Tracking) shows good engineering practices that you can actually train a single unified whole-body control policy for all agile motion, and it works in the real world, directly with sim2real without adaptation. Not only was it used for in-camera finals, but it also informed our digital model, providing a seamless blend between the two. AI video is finally reaching the point where it's reliable enough for real production. After testing Seedance Enterprise 2.5, the biggest improvement for me wasn't just the cinematic quality—it was the much lower "gacha rate." Most of my shots were usable in just 1–2 generations, instead of spending 10+ retries like I often do with other models. That means lower compute costs, faster iteration, and a much smoother creative workflow. The realism also stood out. Natural lighting, believable physics, and intentional camera movement made the results feel far more cinematic right out of the box. Beyond quality, the feature set is built for real projects: generate up to 30-second single-shot videos, use up to 50 image, video, and audio references for better consistency, make localized edits without redoing the entire scene, and work across multiple languages. I can also see Seedream fitting naturally into this workflow for creating strong visual references before bringing them to life with Seedance 2.5. Seedance2.5 API is about to launch on BytePlus, and Lumina will also roll out Seedance2.5 soon.

We put it head to head with Kling AI and Flow by Google VEO using the same reference images and prompts (below) to evaluate motion quality, stability, and cinematic realism. 1. Action/WaterPhysics Test Prompt: Cinematic, wide-shot of a man running in a shallow river. The camera is tracking the man from behind as he runs up the river. Handheld camera shake as the camera follows the man. 2. Fire Physics Test Prompt: Cinematic, wide-shot of terrified woman running towards her burning barn. She abruptly stops, and puts in hands on her head as she watches her barn burn down. 3. VFX test prompt: Cinematic, wide-shot of a hooded figure. Flashes of purple magic and smoke whirl around the figure. The figure lifts its arms as the purple magic and smoke intensifies. 4. 2D Animation Test Prompt: 2D animated shot of a waiting at a bus stop in a thunderstorm. The man turns, walks to the bench, and sits down. 5. 3D Animation Test Prompt: 3D animated shot of an octopus. The octopus reaches into a coral and picks up a glowing white gem. 6.
