Now that TanStack Table V9 is built on top of TanStack Store, it allows you to fine-tune re-renders with subscriptions to state slices or individual atoms. This might be a huge deal performance-wise for certain situations in React or Preact.

I might have just figured out how to integrate Web Workers with TanStack Table V9... So... multi-threaded TanStack Table coming soon? This would theoretically unlock huge UI performance wins for specific large tables that use heavy client-side computations for filtering, sorting, aggregation, etc. In a normal setup, the UI can freeze for a second or two while a large filter or sort is computating, but as seen here, the UI stayed 100% interactive while sorting 1 million rows with a slower alphanumeric sorting function. I want to know if this would be useful to anyone.

The Lock On Pistol is in Competitive now. You need to ADS to lock onto a person, and can do 100 damage if you hit four headshots. Nothing too overpowered or crazy for competitive, but could be useful in certain situations.

Simplicity is at the heart of great software. This is one of the reasons why Claude Code has been sticky for me. As a builder, I love planning and brainstorming, and this is now a key focus of Claude Code. I use Shift + Tab a lot to cycle between brainstorming, planning, and execution. This functionality provides the appropriate interface for me to either be very involved or less involved as I please. This works particularly well when building out new and complex features or entire new projects. This saves a huge amount of time. It allows me to tune Claude Code to execute and build more effectively. It also builds a loop of trust, and I often (surprisingly) find Claude Code asking for clarifications when it's confused. Coding agents don't normally do that. I have shared before on the power of brainstorming with AI for longer times. Try it and you will not be disappointed. Vibe coding is fun, but pair it with intentional development cycles, and you watch how far you can take a project with coding agents today.

It is perfectly appropriate to fly an England flag in public. It is not divisive or intimidating to most people. If you are offended by the national flag, that is on you. Deal with it. And what is actually wrong with putting up a flag that says “this is England”? That is not intimidation. That is a statement of fact. This is England. This is Britain. A country should be allowed to look like itself in its own streets without a council leader treating that as a problem. These arguments are weak and pathetic. They are exactly what you get from a political class that would rather pander than stand up for the most basic expression of national identity. Be proud of our national flag. Be proud to fly it. Be proud to celebrate it. This is England. This is Britain. Be proud of who we are.
