One of the worst things you can ever do is tell a child that he can never be good enough and that his worth will always mean nothing. The caste system does exactly this. Hearing such sentences even one time can destroy their lives, and they will spend the rest of their lives in a state of anxiety. They will succumb to perfectionism, trying to prove their worth even in meaningless things. They will no longer be able to relax or chill. They will always try to overcompensate. The caste system is one of the most evil systems ever conceived by humankind. And yes, anyone who advocates it, validates it, or even slightly leans toward it is my enemy. I will have no respect for you or your upbringing. This is my stand, and I will take these words to my grave. This is the bare minimum. Everyone must condemn the caste system and try to abolish it. Otherwise, you are a disgusting human being. Thank you ప్రశ్న for this ♥️

The same RCMP officer that emailed me below saying I was confused about Level 2 vs Level 3 gave an interview on CTV News Vancouver proudly proclaiming that FSD is illegal, and that just because you talk to your friends or talk on social media about it and that it is available, doesn’t make it legal (or safe) and that we should “do some research into the law.” Respectfully sir, you are the one that needs to do the research to ensure you are enforcing the laws appropriately. Tesla’s FSD is SAE Level 2, which is FULLY LEGAL to use in BC - with due care and attention.

May is mental health awareness month and from one women who struggles with some horrendous scars, trauma and demons in their own head to you. Fight like hell for yourself. Be kind to yourself and those around you who may be struggling too. Ask for help. It’s okay to have relapses in your fight for yourself. Your head is a dangerous place but I promise people love you. Bad days don’t mean your failing. Living is one of the hardest choices you can make sometimes and the worlds better with you in it 💜

We don’t need to label this kid as being a Palestinian or an Israeli. It shouldn’t matter what nationality, religion, ethnicity or name this child has. It shouldn’t matter if it’s a boy or a girl, a child of a peasant or a child of a king. All that matters is that this is a child, and all children should be treated as the innocent beings that they are. If you are putting more weight on the life of a child of one ethnicity, one religion, or one ancestral line other than those of your own family or friends, then your moral compass is out of wack. All children’s lives matter!

Is your toddler suddenly throwing (or dropping) everything they get their hands on? Food, toys… you name it. You’re not alone. This week I’ve been introducing play schemas, 9 common patterns that can help to demystify your toddler’s seemingly random behaviors. And you guessed it: this is one. We call it the trajectory schema. If you take nothing else away from this post, let it be this: your little one doesn’t throw things because they are misbehaving or “bad.” Babies throw things because they are babies. And they are learning as they do so. Learning about cause and effect. Learning about gravity. Learning what (and practicing something new) they can do with their bodies. Learning hand-eye coordination. It’s a completely normal part of development. And the fascination won’t last forever. The real question is, how do you manage it? First, be proactive. Expect that anything your little one handles might reasonably be thrown or dropped. So choose wisely, avoiding items that are valuable or might pose a danger to them or others if they suddenly took flight. Second, depending on the age of your child, begin introducing some natural consequences. Put the toy/object away temporarily after it is thrown (if throwing it is dangerous or inappropriate). And involve your child in the subsequent clean-up. You can also redirect. Explain which things are and are not for throwing. Model the correct use of these objects. Finally, lean into it. Recognizing that young children are drawn to throwing, provide items that are safe and acceptable to throw. Soft toys. Socks. Balls. So my elder brother booked an appointment for me at the The Perfume Bar 🇳🇬 and it was a most amazing experience. You get to choose your scent and make your own perfume. Then give it a name of your choosing. I had fun doing it. The beauty of it is that, no one gets to smell like you 😊 It is a beautiful place with a beautiful experience, and a wonderful customer service. You should go with your friend or partner.
