But factories still had to build the real cell to see if it actually worked. Which meant expensive physical prototypes, weeks or months!!! of commissioning, constant surprises between simulation and reality That “sim-to-real gap” has quietly been one of the biggest bottlenecks in manufacturing automation. And it’s exactly what is changing. Today, ABB Robotics announced a partnership with NVIDIA Robotics aimed at closing this gap through the new RobotStudio HyperReality platform: Simulation and real robot behavior can match with near-perfect accuracy. That means manufacturers can design, test, and validate entire production lines before a single robot is installed on the factory floor. The implications are massive: • up to 80% faster setup and commissioning • roughly 40% lower costs by removing physical prototypes • about 50% faster time-to-market for new production lines In other words: Factories can move from trial-and-error engineering to software-driven manufacturing design. Production lines become something you build and validate digitally first. Then deploy physically once everything already works. For an industry that still measures deployment timelines in months or years, this is a major shift. It changes how automation projects are planned, how factories are designed, and how fast manufacturing can adapt to new products. Physical AI actually becomes deployable at an industrial scale. Instead of showcasing their highlight reel, our team at Lightwheel created a full environment from a 360 pano using Marble and showed you can train directly in sim. The only non-generated assets are the robot arms, coffee, and bowl. Everything else was generated with Marble. Not sure how to do this yourself? NVIDIA wrote a technical blog with full instructions. Why You Shouldn’t Retire Your Family (Especially If You’re In Your 20s & 30s) Retiring your family sounds noble, right? You’re hustling to make enough money so Mom never has to lift a finger again. So Dad can stop working that job he’s hated for decades. I respect that intention. I truly do. But let me give you the REAL game… If you’re still in your 20s or 30s, the best thing you can do for your family isn’t paying their bills. It’s becoming so self-sufficient they NEVER have to pay yours again. It’s not needing a ride. It’s not needing to borrow money. It’s not needing them to pick up the slack every time life gets tough. That’s real freedom. That’s how you actually honor your family. I’ve talked to THOUSANDS of people and seen this pattern over and over… You finally start making money. You start paying for dinner. You cover the bills. You start playing “provider.” And then something shifts. You’re no longer their son or daughter, you’re the bank. The vibe changes. Especially with your dad… See, men are BUILT to provide. That’s where we get our fulfillment from. And when you swoop in to “save the family,” you can unknowingly steal that role from your father. Especially with your dad… See, men are BUILT to provide. That’s where we get our fulfillment from. And when you swoop in to “save the family,” you can unknowingly steal that role from your father. You think you’re helping. He thinks you’re taking his purpose. No social media guru is gonna tell you that. They’ll tell you to hustle 24/7 so you can “retire your family”. I’m telling you, don’t take on burdens nobody even asked you to carry. This year, your focus needs to be simple: Become 100% self-sufficient. Become the shining example of what a successful human looks like. That’s the best gift you can give your family. You win, because you’re free. They win, because they successfully raised a child into a thriving adult. That’s the real flex. So let go of the pressure to carry everyone on your back. Get yourself right first.
