PlayStation 6 and Xbox Project Helix are both rumoured to be moving toward Machine Learning-powered rendering techniques similar in concept to NVIDIA’s DLSS 5. AMD’s next-gen RDNA 5 tech could bring similar ML-powered features, giving us better lighting, environments and overall visuals, while allowing for higher image quality and frame rates without having to brute-force everything through raw GPU power. I just don’t want this to come at the cost of ugly-looking faces 😅 The attached media below is NOT the confirmed look, it’s just a DLSS concept image.

DLSS 5 is making its way to Hogwarts Legacy on November 5th and it looks like it has been toned down, you can barely tell there's a difference between it being turned ON VS OFF It adds a layer of shadows to the characters albeit the colors look more muted. This is still much better compared to what Nvidia showed back when they first introduced DLSS 5, however I can't help but think who would actually use this if the differences are extremely small to spot and the performance hit is high

💡HunyuanVideo1.5 Update: We are now releasing the 480p I2V step-distilled model, which generates videos in 8 or 12 steps (recommended)! On RTX 4090, end-to-end generation time is reduced by 75%, and a single RTX 4090 can generate videos within 75 seconds. The step-distilled model maintains comparable quality to the original model while achieving significant speedup. For even faster generation, you can also try 4 steps (faster speed with slightly reduced quality). 🔗Check out the GitHub Repo:

1/ Gemini 2.5 is here, and it’s our most intelligent AI model ever. Our first 2.5 model, Gemini 2.5 Pro Experimental is a state-of-the-art thinking model, leading in a wide range of benchmarks – with impressive improvements in enhanced reasoning and coding and now #1 on Arena by a significant margin. With a model this intelligent, we wanted to get it to people as quickly as possible. Find it on Google AI Studio and in the Google Gemini for Gemini Advanced users now – and in Vertex in the coming weeks. This is the start of a new era of thinking models – and we can’t wait to see where things go from here.

this is the new benchmark for models. 10 iterations on one generation is where Flux 3 Image starts to add a bunch of noise. I didn't understand at first why the image on the left was drifting so much, whereas on the right it wasn't. After doing a bit of research and reading up on the BFL docs, it turns out it's because when asking it to change hair, it's very hard to apply a stencil to the hair, so it regenerates the entire thing. Whereas when you're asking it to swap a T-shirt, a T-shirt is very easy to trace the outline for, which is basically in-painting. If your object is obvious precise region editing with Flux 3 Image is incredible. If it's not obvious the model is less good. but again you rarely need to go over 5+ iterations. Yesterday I was doing tests with Ideogram 4.5 and I thought it was amazing but I haven't put it through a stress test where the change I'm asking for isn't as easy to trace. I guess now that all image models are getting to the same quality of output, the new benchmark will be how good the vision model is at tracing and inpainting the edits we ask for. I've been doing a bunch of generating and Flux 3 still remains my favorite model for artistic and stylistic choices. It's available now in ElevenCreative.

‼️ MUST ADD FOR PRACTICE ‼️ Olympic style 3x3 is quickly becoming one of the best 'SSGs' for overall development. It's really fast paced, and every possession is played with a ton of purpose. Players play with maximum spacing, build endurance WITH THE BALL and, if done properly, SHOT QUALITY is the games' biggest emphasis. In the Olympics 👇🏼 The analytics behind the actions they deploy are much different than standard 5 on 5, as well. Shooting 25% from 3 is the equivalent of 50% from 2 so there is a HEAVY emphasis on making and defending the 3. This means there is a ton of switching and coverage solutions/counters to switching defenses with NO TAG AT THE HOOP. The game translates BEAUTIFULLY to 5 on 5. 3x3 rules are a simple constraint to make and defend the 3 ball at a much higher level using '3 man' actions. IMO, a must add to our 5 on 5 teams. Team USA: Get | Stagger Screen 👇

Excited to launch a new way to upskill with AI agents. This is how we are making it possible for anyone to learn to build with coding agents. To start, we are launching 4 new hands-on labs on the following topics: - Agent Skills - Agentic Image Generation - 30 Days of Hermes Agents - Prompt Engineering with Agents I am confident that with our new DAIR.AI platform, anyone can learn to become a top AI builder by building and acquiring highly-demanded AI skills. And there is a lot more landing in the coming weeks.

Wan 3.0 is live on Magnific. One generation now takes 20 references at once: 10 images, 5 audio, 5 videos. Not one style ref. Twenty. What that actually changes: Length : 2 to 30 seconds in a single pass. No stitching, no extending clip by clip and praying the character survives the cut. Native audio : voice, ambience and SFX generated with the video, not laid on top afterwards. Multiple ratios available , and adaptive the model composes for the frame instead of cropping into it. 10 image refs : a character, a product, a location and a lighting look can all hold in the same shot. ⚡ 40% off until September 30. More details in comments 👇 What's the first thing you'd throw 20 references at?

So Mafia: The Old Country DLSS Frame Generation is very broken in HDR! See how the image warps in the first part of the video? The second part is with the fix and looks great. This is because UE erroneously flagged all game pixels as UI, hence Frame Gen treated them as such, and applied a different type of interpolation on them. Luckily, we fixed this years ago through a safe 3 lines PR from Ersh: However, it was only merged in UE 5.5. Mafia 4 is 5.4. I would have hoped they backported it after the new update from yesterday, given it also included updates to DLSS, but alas it's still broken 😿. If you know any of the developers, please ping them, otherwise the official version will be broken forever (I used RenoDX to fix it). This is why, I strongly believe Epic should have some kind of alert system for developers on older versions, to inform them of major fixes that might affect their games. Devs unfortunately don't have time to skim through 3000 commits in the UE main branch. Mafia 2K 2KSupport

A quick test of using 3d drawing with 6DOF controllers as an "instructor" for a generative AI process. There's so many powerful and fun new ways to create just around the corner.. Here I'm using Dreams, Krea and 3daistudio. The 3d model at the end of the video was generated from the Dreams+Krea output in just around 15 seconds. Only the model on the left is a "true" 3d model. #ai #madeindreams

EAGLE-3 introduces two key innovations: Training-Time Testing (TTT) and multi-level feature fusion. By removing the feature prediction constraint used in previous EAGLE versions and leveraging semantic features across multiple layers, EAGLE-3 achieves higher acceptance rates, faster generation, and lossless performance. The result? - 5.6× faster than vanilla decoding (13B) Compared to EAGLE-1, EAGLE-3 delivers a 1.8× speedup on the 13B model, with the future EAGLE-4 release expected to further improve decoding efficiency. *Inference on the video conducted on 2x RTX 3090 GPUs at fp16 precision using the Vicuna 13B model.

What happens next? We took a photo with Lens and asked Nano Banana to generate the next 5 seconds of a scene. While it’s not predicting the future in a literal sense, the model draws upon its vast world knowledge to generate a plausible outcome in each of these examples. It's a fun peek at how our latest AI image editing model can be used for creative forecasting and storytelling. Nano Banana is now live in Search – accessible through Lens and AI Mode – so you can try this out for yourself!

⚠️ Our Storm is going into absolute LUDICROUS MODE tonight as BOMBGENESIS is fully underway. ⬇️This Blizzard is DROPPING Pressure like Weight on a KETO Diet and is expected to shed another 18mb in just 12 hours. For context, meteorologists define rapid intensification as a 24mb drop in 24 hours. Our Storm is on pace to drop over 40mb in 24 hours. This is EXTREME Rapid Intensification 💨 As pressure PLUMMETS offshore, the Storm will begin SUCKING air toward its center like a vacuum, causing Winds to really CRANK. ❄️ As the Winds strengthen, a HUGE swath of Heavy Snow continues spreading across the Northeast, with snowfall rates SOARING up to 3 to 4 inches per hour. 📏Places in New Jersey have already picked up close to 10 inches of Snow, with DOUBLE that still possible before this is over. There's even LIGHTNING STRIKES near the center of the Storm, which is sign of rapid strengthening. The stronger this Storm gets, the worse the impacts become. 👊 Hang on tight tonight, my brotheren. The sun will rise tomorrow
