Over 19 people are injured and 3 are hospitalized at "Black Bike Week" after multiple fights caused a STAMPEDE that ended in a MASS CASU*LTY INCIDENT at in Myrtle Beach SC. This is the largest African American motorcycle event in the United States. I am from SC, but have lived in other states before moving back. Years ago, my then husband and I were gonna take a vacation to Myrtle Beach. We booked a room then later found out it was Black Biker week. We called the hotel to cancel but they refused to refund our money until my then husband threatened to ruin them. Then they complied. Businesses shut down during Black Biker Week in MB. These people will literally be in the road taking a crap or be having s*x on the side of the road. It is absolutely INSANE. They steal while they are there and wreck every establishment they enter. I think ALLL Businesses should just shut down for that week....even the hotels. Maybe they will stay out. The police always have their hands full. White Biker Week there .. is a stark contrast. The black fatigue is fatiguing

Saturday is my mom’s funeral. I want to tell a story about her. When we were kids growing up in NYC, we were taught to love the NYPD and FDNY. Especially after 9/11. Every year she’d take us to run Tunnel to Towers Foundation, where you run from Brooklyn through the tunnel to the World Trade Center just like FDNY hero Stephen Siller did on September 11. She’d stop to shake every cop’s hand she could. Three years ago she was diagnosed with brain cancer. The disease and the surgery shut down her body, making it hard for her to do anything. But she wanted to run the race, and I wasn’t going to tell her she shouldn’t. So we drove up to New York from DC to run it, and of course it’s pouring rain for the race. And even though she could barely walk, she ran. I took this video of her running across the finish line. Her whole right side was shut down, and it hurt like hell, but she ran. So we just signed up to run it again this year in her honor, and are raising money for Tunnel to Towers Foundation in her name as Team Melanie Cash. There’s no organization she’d rather support. And if you want to run with us, drinks are on me after the race, which she’d also support.

This took place at the Cincinnati Reds game. A home run ball got wedged just over the wall and the stands. The stands are a good four-five feet up from the wall. So this dad tells his son to lean over and then grabs him by the feet dangling him over the wall to get the ball. 😳 A stadiums employee comes down and grabs the dad by the arm and tells him to stop. 💯 Even the announcer laughs and says “that dude’s gonna’ sacrifice his son.” A couple of things- one, that’s a good way to get kicked out of the park. That dad knows he shouldn’t be doing that. Two, it’s just a baseball. I know it’s a home run ball but it’s worth nothing. Maybe sentimental value to look back and say remember when we got that homerun ball? I get it but it’s not worth it. What if his son slipped out of his hands? And the Beast in the backyard is probably going to chew that ball up anyway. Do you understand the fascination of trying to get these home run balls? Heck, think of the chaos for a foul ball- what’s that all about? It’s a just a foul ball. Why not go buy a MLB baseball in the souvenir shop?
