Last night Joe Rogan had Michael Shellenberger on his podcast & he asked Joe point-blank: "Are you a Christian?!" Rogan had just told him he's been going to church for the last few years. Rogan: "I'm fascinated by the story of Jesus Christ... I can't find a flaw in the way (Jesus) tells you to live." Shellenberger pressed again: "Are you a Christian?" Rogan: "Well, I go to church... I've been doing it for the last three or four years." Shellenberger persisted: "But that's not really an answer to the question." Rogan: "Well, 'cause I don't know... I think it's very interesting, & I do believe that if you follow the teachings of Jesus Christ, you will live a better life. I really do believe that." He's getting close. I would challenge Joe Rogan here with it is IMPOSSIBLE for Jesus to be a good teacher & wise prophet who you can just emulate some of His life & benefit from tho. He was either: 1) A complete lunatic, liar, & the greatest deceiver of all time. mingyu's ment tonight 🖤 #민규 🐶 thank you so much for today everyone. time's so fast, isn't it? while the members were talking earlier, it reminded me of when i was younger. when i was a trainee, it was my dream to debut and as we did on may 26, 2015, i realized how far i need to go, how many things i need to do, and that i need to grow. 11 years have gone by already and we've become the seventeen of today. if i just simply think about it, it could just be a concert where we can have fun together with carats whom we are familiar with. but if i think of it differently, "when, where, and how did i become a person who can laugh and have fun with everyone without getting nervous in such a large venue?" that's why... i guess i really have no choice but to say this, right? i didn't want to but anyway. though i'll have to take a short break from performing with you all on a huge stage, for the past 11 years, i believe i was able to wrap up one chapter very nicely. i want to say thank you so much to all the carats who love us, the members who have endured well, and the staff around us. once we see each other again 2-3 years from now, i believe our 2nd chapter will start. i'll [come back] in better shape that's different from now. i should be different [by then] right? i hope that you'll love that side of me, and we'll be seventeen who will keep on growing. thank you so much always, i love you so much, and i'll do my best. thank you!

We have a deal. Tonight, the City of Calgary and the big Stampede tent operators reached a win-win agreement that delivers even stronger late night noise protections for nearby residents. Before I explain what each side gained, let's talk about why this matters. Over the last few years, the tents received special exemptions far beyond what existed before 2019. Live music ran until almost 2 a.m. People reported shaking windows, rattling shelves, property damage, public disorder, and excessive intoxication outside their homes. So this year we introduced new rules that were still more permissive than anywhere else in North America. We moved weeknight live music to end at midnight, kept weekend hours the same, and reduced allowable bass and volume. The operators had concerns. They told me lower sound limits could affect performance quality and make it harder to attract artists. We also reviewed the hundreds of thousands of dollars they invested in new sound technology to better direct noise away from neighbours. Most importantly, they showed a real willingness to compromise and even give up financially. So here's the deal. The City agreed to restore pre-midnight sound levels to last year's limits while keeping bass lower than last year, because it’s all about that bass. Bass generated the most complaints. In return, the operators agreed that live music will end at midnight on weekends too. That means giving up some of their busiest and most profitable hours out of genuine respect for their neighbours. Compared to last year, bass is lower, live music ends every single night at midnight instead of 1:30 a.m., and weeknight activity wraps up by 1 a.m. instead of 2 a.m. So we let Calgary be a little noisier before midnight, back to what it was last year. The operators made big investments and gave up their latest night programming. Together, we found a fair compromise that lets Calgary celebrate while giving neighbours a much quieter night. But God raised him back to life, and that's why this healing miracle just happened in his name."

260621 mingyu officially announces his hiatus in his ment😭 his way of words😭 #민규 #세븐틴 🐶 i was so thankful today, everyone. time really flies, doesn't it? listening to the members talk earlier reminded me of when i was younger. when i was a trainee, debuting was my dream, but when i actually debuted on may 26, 2015, i realized there was such a long way to go, so much to do, and so much growth to do. we have already run hard for 11 years to become the seventeen of today. sometimes i think of it as just having fun with our familiar carats, but if i look at it differently, i find myself reflecting on how and when i became someone who can laugh and enjoy myself with you all in such a huge venue without getting nervous. 🐶 that is why for a while... i guess i have no choice but to talk about this. i didn't want to, and although i will have to take a break from performing with you all on such a big stage for a while, i believe i have successfully wrapped up a chapter of the past 11 years. also, i want to say how incredibly grateful i am to the carats who have loved us all this time, and i am so thankful to the members who have endured so well, and i am also very grateful to the staff around us. i believe that when we gather again in two or three years, it will mark the beginning of the second chapter. so, we should show a more mature side, a slightly different side and... be different from now, right? i hope you will love that side of us as well, and we will continue to grow as seventeen. i am always so grateful, i love you so much, and i will do my best. thank you

Ugandans and, especially the Bazzukulu. Greetings. It is now day 5 of my corona-status. Last night, I slept very well up to the 10th hour of the night (saa kumi za usiku –what the Europeans call 4am). This time, the dull headache was not there, nor was the mild throbbing (enkuratima) on top of the head (oruhoora-hoore). Initially, on Wednesday, there was also some mild muscle soreness (kutonekara), typical of the usual flu. The soreness I was feeling on Wednesday was less than one would feel with the usual flu. That soreness of muscles, has now gone. Also, some roughness (obugiimbi) on the throat, has gone. However, we carried out corona tests today and they were still positive. We shall wait for a few more days and check again. I remain in self-isolation at Nakasero. In my self- isolation, I have had time to watch some UBC wealth creation programmes, apparently, captured by the Presidential Press Unit (PPU). They are most pleasing to watch. It seems that Ugandans in the countryside are getting our message of getting out of okukolera ekidda kyoonka (tic me ic keken) - subsistence farming. UBC should replay those programmes. In the cattle corridor, with the dairy; in the Masaka Region with coffee, bananas and palm oil; in the Luwero Triangle with coffee; etc., Ugandans are waking up. The spokesmen of the parasites that are always writing negatively in the Monitor Newspaper, can continue deceiving themselves but Uganda is moving. Kahendekye, taita mbogo (cursing a buffalo, does not break its leg). Ebikolimo by’enkonko, tebitta kamunye (the noises made by hens, do not kill a kite). FT Spurs 0 v 3 Nottingham Forest We are in serious trouble make no mistake about it,mid March and we still have no wins it’s just an unbelievably bad situation. 2 games against them we’ve conceded 6 and scored 0 😡 We lost to a shambolic second half from Forest in reality. You can’t say they didn’t try but we just weren’t good enough. How we ended the 1st half 1 down. I’ll never know. We had so much pressure on their goal. I was worried when it was announced Michael Oliver was our ref today. He gives us nothing, and so it came to be a couple of penalty shouts and every decision against us. Gray, Tel, and Danso did so well in that half, but again we were undone at a corner. Igor Jesus heading in after losing Spence,not long after a great shot from Tel was brilliantly saved. I think we deserved better. For the possession, we needed more shots on target. Tudor took off Spence and MVDV off at HT, which was a bit of a surprise to me. Maybe it was the poor late goal at HT. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Leaving Porro on Hudson Odoi was always going to end badly, and it did as he crossed for MGW to score. 😡 How Oliver allowed Sangare to stay on the pitch after a clear 2nd yellow on Simmons was beyond me . Bringing on Udogie didn’t work out he was poor in fact none of the subs worked to push us forward the 2nd half was terrible and it was Forest that played in Europe on Thursday. 🚨#BREAKING - MARITIME LAW - Ok, this is epic, and it will blow your mind, if you don't even know it. Those who are awake will know. That's great and this is what we should share. So, your birth certificate is where it all begins. This is where much of the corruption begins. The moment you sign your BC, it is Maritime law. You are actually signing a form that classifies you as dead at sea. You become a commodity of the system and honestly you Google it, you research it and you probably have to be fair like I said, but it's true. You become um... In a sense, they seize all the assets and go into what they call a trust fund and then you have 6 years to declare yourself alive. Declare yourself still here and then you can regain your sovereignty. But we didn't know that. It was a system they had set up so that you and I and everyone else were traded like cattle on the stock market. So each of us has a trust fund. And depending on how old you are, it depends on how much money is there. So if you're over 50 or something, you've got millions in there because that's how long we've been traded for. And this is another thing that is also crazy. That's why the mortgage system is absolutely ruined. So when you go for a mortgage, you basically sign the papers and they always tell you, "come back in 3 days and we'll have the money." They then take that money out of their trust fund to pay for the house. So, that comes out of your trust fund in your name, which has been growing since you were born. They then charge you interest on your money, but they don't care about the monetary side. They want the house. So if you miss a payment, they'll miss out immediately, because they can repossess your house. For them the house is a commodity, an asset. Wait to share what the banks do, but this trust fund is where much of your money will come from and be returned to you. This is their money that they have earned from you. So, that's just one thing. Then you also have the tax side. Taxes have never been taken from us, it is illegal. It is a corrupt system. So, all the taxes that we pay, it is not that they are going to return them to us, like the exact amount of taxes that we paid. What I have heard on the channels is the fact that it will be bond based, so at a certain age you will get so much money back, at a certain age this... I think the 62+ category was like 110k or something like that. But obviously they'll know more about that when it comes, but that's where more money comes from. Honestly, you are ready to live a life of abundance. This is money that was ours, that should be ours, that we should have been living with to create a better life. COACHES: If we want to develop better hockey players, we need to talk more about work AWAY FROM THE PUCK. Here are two clips to show your players on this concept. 1. GIVE-AND-GO: One of my favorite youth coaches was from Russia and Tarasov's school of hockey...and his biggest pet peeve was passing and then not moving. He would literally stop practice and make us do a somersault if we passed and stood still. Our team won a national championship, we had half our team play college hockey, and his emphasis on this I think was a huge part of our development. Why is a give-and-go big? When a defender is on you and you pass it, that split second is when they're most vulnerable. They have to look at where the puck goes but also pay attention to you. By moving right away after passing, their attention shifts, even so briefly, which allows you to get open to get it back. Check out this AMAZING give-and-go between McDavid and Draisaitl. These guys are on another level and McDavid is truly superhuman at working away from the puck. 2. WORK TO SUPPORT THE PUCK: On the second clip, watch how hard Tarasenko speeds through the neutral zone to get to a spot of support. If he doesn't, this play ends in a dump in and an easy breakout. But he hightails it, like he's shot out of a cannon, and even though he doesn't get the puck, his speed without the puck allows him to get pressure on the forecheck. 3. WORK TO GET THE PUCK BACK: Then you have Kaprizov, one of the most skilled players in the world, working to track back on the forecheck. His effort helps create the turnover and he gets rewarded with the goal. If you want to play offense, the harder you work away from the puck defensively, the more you'll benefit offensively by getting possession back. Even the best players in the world only have the puck on their stick for maybe one minute during a game. As coaches and in player development, the more we can emphasize play without the puck, the more we'll develop smarter and better players.
