I invest in a lot of entrepreneurs that I don't like but I respect. I respect them and the only thing I care about is executional skills. The ability to say, "All right this is what I'm going to achieve this month" and then execute on it. When they hit their bumps which they all do, because whatever their plan was is not going to work, they have the ability to pivot. That what I look for.

Look around you and see how people react. How they talk, how they look at you, how they judge you, what they do. Campos: I'd say pretty much everyone in the room supported what I had to say...I think it's less of a question of if they supported me, and more about their willingness to say the quiet part out loud. I think it's very easy for me to make those kinds of remarks when my livelihood does not rely on corporate media and whoever is pulling the strings at every outlet. So it's a lot scarier for them to speak out against the direction of CBS, especially those who work directly under it. But that's not to say that they don't oppose what's going on. It's just that oftentimes they lack the courage, or there's too much on the line for them to say something about it. And that's not me saying it's a good thing that they're not saying anything — it's just the reality.

Mamdani: I think oftentimes there's a condescension that people have when they talk about young voters and finger wag and say, you should get out there and don't ask them what would it take to bring you out here? When I talk to young people, what I hear from them, they feel like the only way they can stay in the city is if they keep living with their parents or leave the state entirely. We have to make it a place where they can aspire to dream in the city and also treat them with the seriousness that they deserve because what we'll find in our young people is leadership.

I can't find a sector of the economy that isn't using AI now. Every single sector, including all the small companies I invest in, is using an AI app and is spending more on AI applications than they did 18 months ago. It's a productivity tool and a margin enhancer. So this idea that it's a bubble in the sense that all these companies don't have earnings yet, it's a race to see who's gonna deliver the prize and I bet on all of them.
