I was v.nervous (10 years since I've done TV) but I wanted to do it. Because every woman who speaks up publicly to defend women's sex-based rights and language helps another woman to find the courage to do so. Women like Martine Croxall should not be called 'brave' for speaking the truth. Women should not have to fear losing their livelihood for defending their sex-based rights and language. Women should not have to take legal action - or take petitions to parliament - to secure the right to single sex spaces.
