Do you understand what it does to your mental health to not be able to walk down the street in your neighborhood without seeing piles of trash and vehicles with drug addicts living in them? Oakland leadership needs to stop taking victory laps and start seriously addressing these problems. It’s contemptuous to allow these conditions to persist. This all started in 2019 when the “progressive” terrorist got a council majority.

My dog Koda Bear is turning 22 next month. I’m not really sure how’s he’s still alive but yeah. He’s just like a 120 year old man who still walks, is blind, maybe deaf— or just doesn’t care to listen anymore, 1 tooth left, and pretty much sleeps 18 hours a day. He’s not really showing any signs of slowing down, but it’s still wild to have a dog this long. I’m 46 and have had him since my 20s.
