I don't like the circle. Just triangle would be enough for me. And the wobbly effect is distracting. I'm getting a little bit of motion sickness by looking at it :)

I think it's too crazy. I'd make it just the outline triangle, always flat to the ground, and much further away from the car. I haven't played the game, so that's just a guess.

Keep the physics, make it less opaque and add some sort of animation to fade in/glitch in and out

Maybe a bit less wobbly would be nicer. Also i think it could sometimes restrict vision, so maybe cutting 1/3 of internal circle in direction of movement?
