We must separate the actions of an individual from their community. When someone says hateful and divisive things, don’t blame his community, or anyone else. Instead, hold the person accountable as an individual. An individual's hateful speech is their own. Governor Kahiga's tribal utterances represent him and him alone. Do not assign his views to anyone else. He speaks for himself, not for Kenyans.

Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey just destroyed the Trump talking point that ICE is in Minneapolis because of fraud: "This is not about fraud. When you have a fraudster, you investigate, you charge, you hold the person accountable you prosecute and then they get put in jail as an individual. Put in jail as an individual. You do not hold an entire community or an entire city accountable for the actions of the fraudsters. That's not a novel concept. The expectation that Brown people must collectively answer for the actions of one individual creates a standard that few others are asked to meet. Collective apologies don't promote accountability, they reinforce the notion that Brown Britons are outsiders whose loyalty and belonging are always subject to scrutiny. We're not guests in British society. We're part of it. Accountability belongs to the individual who committed the act, not to an entire community.

The sick individual who forced his way into the White House Correspondents’ Dinner last night with guns and knives is no hero. Period. Everyone with a platform has a duty to fight any attempt to dress him up as some kind of anti-establishment role model. He’s not. People like him need to be removed from society and given help. They do NOT need to be put on a pedestal. We need LESS violence in America, not MORE violence in America. I am thankful that President Trump, our nation’s leaders and the national press corps were unharmed.

ALERT: Driver opens his trunk during a traffic stop, and police open fire after discovering a dead body inside. The Chino Hills Police Department tried to pull over a car, and after a short chase, the car pulled over. The passenger immediately complied and got out with their hands above their head. The driver opened his door but promptly closed it, and the vehicle rolled forward before he got out, then grabbed something from the car and opened the trunk. Smoke can then be seen coming from the officer's guns as they shoot and kill the driver.
