Today we improved how you create a new note. Our philosophy hasn't changed. Most notes, especially in the beginning are short. Often they are a passing thought, like something you'd put on a sticky note. And that's why new notes should always feel instant and effortless to take. So we gently expanded on the new note field when clicking into it, giving you just enough room but without that heavy feeling of creating a document. Easy to go in, and easy to get out. But the nice part is: If your thoughts turn into something larger as you type, you can always flow right into Focus Mode (CMD+F), which is a beautifully simple and distraction free space to keep writing. It's now LIVE on both our web app and MacOS app. Enjoy!
