100%. Also a reason why I never would let the seller use their inspector either I’d always hire my own, pay them generously with added tip to be extremely thorough during inspection even on a new home. Builders suck.

Nope at my old place I watch a developer build an entire development and decided to order a off the frame manufactured modular home since the quality was gonna be about the same. Converted it modular on paper and I got the same value at half the price. Turns out my build quality was better too.

I used to do work for Ryan Homes. I could go in and grab a 2x4 wall and pull it out of place. They built the wall on the ground, stood it in place, and put one nail in the center at the bottom and top.

And we are constantly making fun of China construction quality!

I do construction and my boss would lose his shit if we did this. This is what you get with cheap, foreign labor.
