@danabrams I take his rather ridiculously vague answers of "government", "paperwork", etc, as nothing more than an attempt to limit liability of OceanGate. All your people are ready to rock, this story is plastered across the world, and you're getting "out of office" responses? Unlikely...

@danabrams David Concannon is trying to place blame before he gets sued.🙄

@danabrams Looks like he's setting up their legal defense for the lawsuits that are inevitably coming their way. "Wasn't our fault. If only the government had moved more quickly." Tragically sad. Maybe they should have done a better job planning for contingencies?

@danabrams Something sounds fishy, you have multiple private and already govt agencies involved but paperwork is red tape? I mean what laws would be broken here to utilize equipment to save lives? Its the biggest story right now, sounds like an attempt to curtail some responsibility...

@danabrams Nonsense. It was the lack of them following any advice that got them in that mess... "yeh, lets employ inexperienced people to design a sub...we don't want older people that know things" "Oh a proper 2-way radio...sod that, I want peace and quiet in my private death tube"

@danabrams I’m fine with govt paperwork slowing process if it’s spending citizen dollars for this “rescue”. This was a free will endeavor.m by crew and paying Tourists. Who is paying for it david concannon? The chance of saving them is extremely low. Waste of time money and resources

@danabrams #OceanGate's motto was safety is waste and they complained on the record that safety/compliance regulations hindered innovation. They've been lost before & knew they needed a beacon. Now, their failures are the govt's fault. 🙄

@danabrams @OceanGateExped @OceanGate Thanks for updating us, NewsNation. Coastguard does not normally hide behind paperwork as an excuse for not mobilizing immediately. @CoastGuardCAN @HMCoastguard @MCA_media @uscoastguard

@danabrams They found out that JP Morgan blew up the Titanic, which he owned, to usher in the Federal Reserve

@danabrams So this company that sent a submarine down without a contingency plan if something went wrong is blaming people that had nothing to do with it? Don't get me wrong, I think everyone should do what they can, but wow.
