Hermes just made its in-app browser a whole lot more useful. You can now keep multiple browser tabs open inside Hermes Desktop instead of every new page replacing the one you were already using. And that matters more than it sounds. Because this is not just about “having tabs.” It means Hermes can work across multiple pages without forcing you to keep losing your place every time you open the next thing. Research one source, keep it open, open another tab, compare them side by side, and keep moving. Check a few products before buying something. Look at multiple hotel or travel options at once. Keep a YouTube tutorial open in one tab while Hermes looks through docs or another page in the next. And because this lives inside Hermes Desktop, you are not limited to one basic browser view either. You can keep multiple tabs open. You can view two pages side by side. You can stack them top and bottom. You can even run a four-panel view when you want several pages open at once. So the browser inside Hermes is starting to feel a lot more like a real workspace instead of one page you keep replacing. There is also some nice polish that comes with it. Browser tabs now label themselves based on the page, and the address bar behaves more cleanly while pages are loading. And remember, this is the same in-app browser Hermes can already read, click through, type in, scroll, and annotate. So this is not just a prettier browser. It is a more capable workspace for the browser Hermes is actually using. If Hermes is going to do more of your work on the web, this is exactly the kind of browser upgrade it needed.

This is a very nice description of the problem. I think the first part of the solution is to not give into the hyper productivity hype: running a gazillion things in parallel. There's likely only a handful of humans that have the mental make-up to survive the permanent context switches. You can train your brain to become better at it, but there's a limit to that, and I found that it will lead to much worse outcomes in terms of output quality of both you and your clanker. I'm no neuroscientist, but I would assume there's a hard limit on how many things your brain can juggle at a time, probably made worse by the complexity that is code. I generally don't do more than 2-3 things in parallel. I use virtual desktops as "bundle of things that belong to a task", so terminals + editor + browser. Works fine, doesn't need any special OS support, expose on the virtual desktop let's me quickly switch to the task specific app I need. I also have a little pi extension that shows me what GH issue/PR the clanker session is about, with a link I can click to open the issue/PR in the browser. Plus 1 virtual desktop for entertainment, so the brain can get some rest. (better alternative: get up and walk a bit every 45 minutes) Video: - First desktop: pi session for a PR, extension shows me what PR I work on, can click to open in browser, aux terminal for random BS, editor, browser. Yes, I could split instead of having two terminal windows. I'm old. - Second desktop: clawdbot pi session, aux terminal for testing, editor, browser - Third desktop: entertainment booth

Grateful for the outpouring the past few days. I can’t tell you how motivating it is to have people care so much about Arc. The encouragement, the criticism, the confusion. Took it all in <3 As a thank you, I’d like to speak more plainly about what’s happening and why – we owe it to you: 1. Every person who joined or invested in our company did so to build products beloved by hundreds of millions of people. “We want to be to the browser what the iPhone was to the cellphone” has been our rallying cry since Day One. We knew chance of success was low but the ambition made us leap out of bed every morning. 2. Arc is beloved, popular, and growing (4x daily actives YoY). But it’s now clear that what most people love about the product *is also* what will prevent it from reaching hundreds of millions of people in our target demographic (people who spend hours in their browsers each day for their livelihood). Arc is a niche browser, even if we did not intend for it to be so. 3. Luckily, we architected this company – from company name to investors and technical architecture – to support multiple products since Day One. See Arc Search. Our favorite brands have multiple product lines in the same category too (Apple, Nike, Disney). Hence our realization: why keep trying to make Arc something it is not? Nobody who loved Arc wanted Arc Max. Arc members just want it to be more stable, secure, and performant. “Let’s just do that!” 4. With Arc as our beloved but niche browser #1, we asked ourselves a simple question: if we founded the company TODAY (in 2024), with everything that we know, what would the browser of the future look like for hundreds of millions of people? Let’s go build *that* product, alongside Arc. A second browser that is easier to use, more focused, and more powerful. All in order to live up to our founding mission (#1 above). 5. Yet none of this would’ve happened if it weren’t for the timing (market timing is most underrated startup ingredient). Mark my words: the Web is going to dramatically change in 2025 – much more than we all appreciate. Crazy new AI & computer-use models are incoming. I promise you that new browsers will be the story of 2025 (The Browser Company aside). Why? The browser layer is the obvious epicenter of AI & Agents because of its unique context, cookies, & apps. 6. To build a breakthrough consumer product (#1) – like truly breakthrough – you need a catalyzing innovation or technology. AI will be that for the next era of browsers, whether we win or someone else does. So why us (other than Arc is niche)? Our belief is that not only do you need the browser layer to win, but “the hard part” is nailing the interface, the interactions, the storytelling. That’s our bread & butter. That’s the expertise of our team. Now you can see how these puzzle pieces fit together… We built something people love (in Arc) and we intend to stick by it. But we also won’t lose sight of why our team poured so much blood, sweat and tears over the past 4 years into this company: the mission to build a new interface to the internet used by hundreds of millions of people every day. It truly feels like the moment we were waiting for is here and we won’t miss it. Everything we’ve done up until this point was for this type of window, even if we couldn’t have predicted it would play out exactly this way. We’re hopeful that more of you will understand why we’re building this second product soon. I feel confident you will once we can show you more of what we’re dreaming up, and once more of the things we’ve heard and seen in the industry reveal themselves soon. Candidly, we wanted to wait on this announcement but random stuff was leaking and it seemed wrong for you to hear from anyone except us first. We’ve always been at our best when we’re open & honest. We’ll continue to be. Finally, THANK YOU, again, for the love & tough love. We don’t take it for granted. We can’t wait to ship, ship, ship in early 2025!

Everything you love about generative models — now powered by real physics! Announcing the Genesis project — after a 24-month large-scale research collaboration involving over 20 research labs — a generative physics engine able to generate 4D dynamical worlds powered by a physics simulation platform designed for general-purpose robotics and physical AI applications. Genesis's physics engine is developed in pure Python, while being 10-80x faster than existing GPU-accelerated stacks like Isaac Gym and MJX. It delivers a simulation speed ~430,000 faster than in real-time, and takes only 26 seconds to train a robotic locomotion policy transferrable to the real world on a single RTX4090 (see tutorial: The Genesis physics engine and simulation platform is fully open source at We'll gradually roll out access to our generative framework in the near future. Genesis implements a unified simulation framework all from scratch, integrating a wide spectrum of state-of-the-art physics solvers, allowing simulation of the whole physical world in a virtual realm with the highest realism. We aim to build a universal data engine that leverages an upper-level generative framework to autonomously create physical worlds, together with various modes of data, including environments, camera motions, robotic task proposals, reward functions, robot policies, character motions, fully interactive 3D scenes, open-world articulated assets, and more, aiming towards fully automated data generation for robotics, physical AI and other applications. As a Twitch streamer, do you struggle with keeping your viewership up when on a BRB or Starting Soon screen? Clip reels are a perfect, fun way to keep attention. And they showcase your content. But they're a LOT of work to maintain. Well.. at least they were😎 What if you could have a simple browser source that automatically played an always-fresh clip reel? What if you could have a simple browser source that would show the clip reel of your last stream, like a "Previously On..." TV show intro? Now you can!! When you use the Highlight Hunter by FrostyTools, you find the best moments from your VOD, automatically. You can already easily turn them into Twitch clips, or download the snippets to edit for a perfect short-form video, or download entire montages of VODs to share with your community. BUT NOW, you can just grab one of two simple browser source links, to pop into your OBS or Meld Studio One of them will roll all your favorited snippets in random order, like a shuffling playlist of your best highlights. Great for BRB screens, or any time you want to entertain with your best moments. The other will play the linear montage of your latest VOD, for a "Previously On..." experience that helps catch viewers up if they missed it or forgot. Great for Starting Soon screens to seamlessly tie the streams together (and pairs great with our Showstarter chatbot feature 😉). The best part? As you continue to use the Highlight Hunter, these update automatically! New favorite snippets since last stream? They're in the reel already! Ran the Highlight Hunter on your latest VOD? Its montage will automatically play on your 'Previously On..' browser source when you start stream up next time. This is a SUPER powerful update; check it out ASAP!

🚀 Announcing Echo — our new frontier model for 3D world generation. Echo turns a simple text prompt or image into a fully explorable, 3D-consistent world. Instead of disconnected views, the result is a single, coherent spatial representation you can move through freely. This is part of a bigger shift in AI: from generating pixels and tokens to generating spaces. Echo predicts a geometry-grounded 3D scene at metric scale, meaning every novel view, depth map, and interaction comes from the same underlying world — not independent hallucinations. Once generated, the world is interactive in real time. You control the camera, explore from any angle, and render instantly — even on low-end hardware, directly in the browser. High-quality 3D world exploration is no longer gated by expensive equipment. Under the hood, Echo infers a physically grounded 3D representation and converts it into a renderable format. For our web demo, we use 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) for fast, GPU-friendly rendering — but the representation itself is flexible and can be easily adapted. Why this matters: consistent 3D worlds unlock real workflows — digital twins, 3D design, game environments, robotics simulation, and more. From a single photo or a line of text, Echo builds worlds that are reliable, editable, and spatially faithful. Echo also enables scene editing and restyling. Change materials, remove or add objects, explore design variations — all while preserving global 3D consistency. Editing no longer breaks the world. This is only the beginning. Echo is the foundation for future world models with dynamics, physical reasoning, and richer interaction — environments that don’t just look right, but behave right. Explore the generated worlds on our website and sign up for the closed beta. The era of spatial intelligence starts here. 🌍 #Echo #WorldModels #SpatialAI #3DFoundationModels Check it out:

We just shipped a completely new concept for web interaction. Live on three․ws, we are thrilled to showcase this demo of persistent, interactive 3D AI Agents that live right in your browser. As the first mover in this space, we are achieving what hasn't been done before: seamlessly bridging the gap between traditional flat web pages and fully immersive, spatial 3D environments. We are fundamentally shifting how humans experience the internet. Here's how. Intelligent AI Agents. Your 3D companion drops right into the screen, tracks your cursor, and interacts with you based on the exact page you are viewing. Context-Aware Guide. Knows exactly where visitors are. It can point out and encourage clicks on the most important parts of a site. Highly Interactive. Turns to follow your cursor in real-time, waves when you navigate, and idles naturally. Playground Mode. Click your avatar and it seamlessly detaches into a full-page 3D stroll or platformer right in the browser. Use keyboard arrows on desktop and joystick on mobile. Choose Your Avatar. Pick exactly who walks the web with you from a fully customizable, hot-swappable roster. Polite & Lightweight. Built with smart compression and shared animation files. It monitors browser memory to guarantee zero slowdowns and respects "reduced motion" accessibility settings. Flat websites will be gone before you know it. The future is interactive, the future is intelligent. It's time to break AI out the chatbox. three․ws
