Long but fun post on RW intellectual bankruptcy. "Main bhi khaif nahin taḳhta-e-daar se Mai bhi Mansur hoon kah do aghyar se Kyuun Darate ho zindan ki divar se Zulm ki baat ko, jahal ki raat ko Main nahin manta, main nahin janta" The above-mentioned nazm, plagerized in the Piyush Mishra video, is by Habib Jalib, so before I get to Piyush Mishra and Sanghis intellectual bankruptcy. Let's find out a little about the history and background of the Nazm. In 1959, General Ayub Khan declared martial law in Pakistan. All media outlets were toing the line, censorship was at its peak, and even the Writers Guild supported the establishment. (Similar to India today) In the middle of all this chaos, Radio Pakistan hosted a mushaira. Except for Habib Jalib, the majority of the poets read sycophantic or mild patriotic poetry. But Pakistani radio was raided because of Habib Jalib, and he was blacklisted. "Poot ke pair palne mein dikh chuke the" Ayub Khan imposed a new constitution on Pakistan in 1962, and Habib Jalib wrote in opposition of that constitution as he regarded that constitution undemocratic and dictatorial, "Main nahin manta, main nahin janta". This nazm is commonly referred to as "Dastoor". And for writing this Nazm, Jalib had to spend years in prison under Ayub Khan's rule. Consider the sacrifice, anguish, tenacity, and integrity of the man Habib Jalib. Man actually lived what he wrote. Let's now talk about Piyush Mishra, the unoriginal, intellectual petty robber and two-bit art and craft thief. One verse of the song has these words (believe me, I am not making this up). "Poonjivad se mujhko darate ho kyon? Mujhko lenin ke sapne dikhate ho kyon?" "Che guevara hai jo, sirf chehra hai wo, Uske jazbat ko, uske andaaz ko... Main nahin manta, main nahin janta." The first two lines are OK; it is only an opinion. But in the next 3 lines we're talking about Che', a man who brought about change and died fighting for it. Millions of people around the world gained hope. A man who altered modern worldviews. A two-bit art thief who, while copying and utilizing a song inspired by Che's very own philosophy and political ideology (as Habib Jalib was lefty), rejects Che's emotions and very existence. Look at the tiny man's confidence. Does he even see the irony? I mean, I've witnessed a lot of "Chhote muh badi baat" in my life. But this might be the stangest of all: it's like a grain of sand rejecting the very galaxy because of which it exists. But the two-bittyness doesn't stop there; Piyush Mishra is a fresh addition to Sanghiverse and Andh Bhakt Mandli. Is he even aware of how stupid he looks by plagiarizing the melody and stealing the left's words while taking weak and pointless potshots? And this is the problem I have with the right wing: they have no creativity, voice, imagination, originality, art, or craft. The worst part is that they're all "intellectual Jebkatras." I'm not even furious; I'm just mildly amused at how intellectually poor and pathetic these right-wingers are. If you ask me truthfully, I genuinely pity them.

Long Post Alert on #Kesari2 I’m Not Offended. I’m VERY, VERY ANGRY. The date was December 19, 2020—the very day Suvendu Adhikari joined the #BJP. Earlier that day, Union Home Minister #AmitShah had visited the ancestral home of Sahid Khudiram Bose at Keshpur in West Midnapore. This was just months before the high-stakes West #Bengal election. As expected, the visit drew a flood of #Delhi-based journalists—most from national channels, many Hindi-speaking, largely from the North. They had parachuted in to cover Shah’s tour. The buzz was strong: “BJP is winning Bengal.” Amit Shah’s visit to Sahid Khudiram Bose’s home was not the main event. It was second or third on his itinerary—the focus was squarely on Adhikari’s joining. So, while Shah was inside Khudiram’s house, many Delhi journalists loitered outside, casually chewing Rajnigandha, gossiping, and confidently delivering their political predictions. Then came a moment that seared itself into my memory. Two more reporters arrived, looking flustered, as if worried they’d missed something important. One was from a national agency that usually doubles up or covers up for govt prasar bharati. Shah was still inside the house. The conversation that then followed- Reporter A asked another delhi colleague: “Kaha kaha hai; Amit Shah ji kaha hai?” (“Where, where is Amit Shah ji?”) Reporter B replied: “Shah ji ander hai, Khudiram ke ghar ke ander hai.” (“Shah ji is inside, in Khudiram’s house.”) Then, with shocking ignorance, Reporter A responded: “Kaun Khudiram? Kaun hai yeh bai*ch?”** (“Who is Khudiram? Who the f** is that?”) Reporter B smirked: “Are yaar malum nahi. Hoga koi bai*ch.”** (“Don’t know, man. Must be some f**er.”)* Then came Reporter C to complete this trio of disgrace: “Are yeh woh bai*ch hai joh mar gaya tha.”** (“He’s that f**er who died.”)* I stood right there, hearing every word. My blood boiled. As a Bengali, as an Indian, I was furious. I wanted to speak up, to call them out. But I hesitated. I was working for another channel then, and one of them was affiliated with the same organization. I clenched my fists and held my tongue. I walked away with my head hanging in shame. Shame at their ignorance, shame at their arrogance, and shame at the casual entitlement with which they dismissed a martyr of our freedom struggle. They think their shallowness is somehow... default wisdom. If Sahid Khudiram Bose isn’t part of their curriculum, then India should be ashamed. Obsessed with Godse, some of these people have grown so indifferent to the history and struggles of the East and South that they treat the rest of us as collateral damage—irrelevant footnotes in the nationalist script written solely from the North. And now, years later, comes another insult—Keshri 2. This film commits the unforgivable by mocking or distorting Khudiram’s legacy. But what’s worse? The CBFC let it pass. That tells you everything. Either the Central Board of Film Certification doesn't know who Khudiram Bose was—or they simply don’t care. And that is unacceptable. More than the filmmaker, more than the producer or director; more than #AkshayKumar𓃵 , it is CBFC that should be held accountable FOR ALLOWING THIS INSULT . This isn’t just about a bad joke or a misstep—this is about systemic disregard for the heroes of Bengal and the East. So no, I’m not just offended. I’m angry. And as a #Bengali, as an #Indian I will not watch this bulls**t. Because if you can insult our freedom fighters and get away with it, Then what’s left to fight for? And plz I am not passing this off something as innocent “Aam kaise khate hai” sin

A 21-year-old student died after allegedly falling from a hostel building in North Bengaluru in the early hours of Tuesday, raising suspicions of foul play. The deceased has been identified as Laksh Mishra, a second-year BTech student and a native of Ranchi in Jharkhand. He was pursuing his studies at a private college in Yelahanka. Senior officer told reporters that the incident occurred around 3 am, when the student reportedly fell from the 9th floor of a hostel building located within the limits of Yelahanka New Town police station. He was rushed to a nearby hospital but was declared dead. The victim’s father, Anjani Kumar Mishra, alleged foul play and demanded a thorough investigation. He stated that he received a call from the college informing him about the fall, and later around 4 am,he was told that his son had succumbed to injuries at the hospital. After reaching Bengaluru and seeing the body, he expressed doubts over the circumstances of the death. “It does not appear that he fell from such a height,” he said. He added that the spot where his son fell had very little blood, which raised suspicion. “If someone falls from the ninth floor, the condition of the body and the amount of blood loss would be significant. There was no reason for my son to take such an extreme step,” he said, alleging that the police were colluding with the college management He further claimed that upon visiting the hostel room, he noticed that the window grill made it difficult for anyone to slip through, raising questions about how the fall occurred. “I suspect foul play. The management is hiding something. I want a proper probe and justice for my son,” he added. The Police have registered a case and are examining all angles, including accidental fall and other possibilities. Further investigation is in progress.

Lin Hai (Dragon TV host) on his livestream, talking about Xiao Zhan: “Waiting is captivating, and happiness in 2026 has no limits.” **Is it the kind of happiness I’m hoping for? 🙏 🤫: That night, when I was there listening to this song live, I felt especially moved. Especially when I was standing at the stage entrance, watching the big screen and the live shots the director cut to on site. I saw him, there was a faint, shimmering glint at the corner of his eyes. And later on, when I went back and rewatched the cut from that live performance, I felt deeply moved. I just said that waiting can be very compelling, and so can persistence. Someone asked, what did you feel being there in person? I think, um, I felt very honored. It’s been, well, about seven years now. Seven years ago, I hosted Our Song, and in the first season I met many outstanding singers, including one who, at the time, still felt very youthful and quite childlike — Xiao Zhan. And if I have to put it into words, this time, sharing the stage with him, I’d say it really is “boys to man.” It truly is “boys to man.” But through that process of going from boys to men, he has still kept that sense of simplicity and that respect for the stage. Yes, that’s what I mean. So I feel that night, when the whole venue lit up in a sea of red, and he was singing this song, what was going on inside him must have been stronger than what any of us were feeling. So, just like I said, let’s look forward to it together. In 2026, happiness with no limits, alright? #XiaoZhan #肖战 #DragonTVNYE26_XiaoZhan

#WATCH | Mumbai: "...I was targeted because despite being a Maharashtrian, I raised my voice for people from different backgrounds who come here to work hard...Maharashtra belongs to everyone..," says social media influencer Rajshree More who says she was abused by a youth claiming to be the son of MNS state vice President Javed Shaikh. She says, "...He told me, 'Tujhe pata hai main kaun hoon? Mera baap kaun hai? Main MNS se hoon'. He did not deem it important to even tell his name. Police supported a lot. When he was abusing me and hurling disgusting slurs at me, he seemed very arrogant...He abused me even before the Police and tried to even hit me...When my vehicle was hit once, he could have left. Why was it twice? My vehicle is very famous...People know me and my vehicle. So, why was just my vehicle targeted and why was it an MNS person inside the vehicle?...He told me to go to Raj Thackeray's residence and ask for compensation of losses from there...I was targeted because, despite being a Maharashtrian, I raised my voice for people from different backgrounds who come here to work hard. I had urged them not to torture them and let them continue their work. They called me 'Vibhishan'...I respect everyone. Mumbai brings everyone together...Maharashtra belongs to everyone and that is why I raised my voice...Action should be taken. They had come with 200 people and demanding an apology from me...Ek Marathi ladki ko hi ye Marathi waale target kar rahe hain...They had threatened to break down my studio if I did not apologise...I am scared of these people. Where am I safe?..."

#WATCH | Kolkata, West Bengal | On the alleged assault on her, Bengali playback singer Lagnajita Chakraborty says, "I had started my show at around 7 pm and it was going smoothly. At around 7:45 pm, I was done singing 7 songs and I was going to start with my 8th one in the list... This 7th song is called 'Jago Maa' from the movie 'Devi Choudhurani', which was released during this Pujo. While I was interacting with the audience after this song, I suddenly saw one man from the audience charging towards the stage... He came very close to my face. The school that I was performing in, was recording my whole concert, which is very normal, as every organiser does it. But I don't have access to that video recording because it belongs to the school. If somebody can access the video, if it comes out in public, then everybody can see that Mahboob Mallick charged towards the stage with the intention of hitting me. In plain words, he wanted to beat me up... While people rushed to save me and were pulling him away, he shouted, "Enough of Jago Maa, now sing something secular"... Bangla is a beautiful language with many words that can be used to refer to a person, but he called me 'tu', which I am not okay with. That's not part of our culture. We don't do that to an unknown person or a guest. It is used for very near and dear ones or is used as an abuse... I went to the Bhagwanpur Police Station after leaving from the show, and filed a GD... I have full faith in my police and administration, and I know such an incident will not happen again... I have another show in the coming days in the Arambagh area, and I am going to sing 'Jago Maa' as my 7th number. I know the police and administration will ensure that I sing Jago Maa and do not get beaten up for it, and I return home safe and sound..."

Safed detergent's latest ad is a monumentally problematic and sanitized counter-narrative of the Jantar Mantar police action. It reminded me of Pepsi's ill-fated 2017 Kendall Jenner ad. In the new Safed ad, students are protesting and want the minister to respond. A lady cop, stationed on the minister's route, reaches out to the students and offers them breakfast (just one tiffin box, for all of them!). The minister arrives and asks why the cop is behaving as if they are her kids. She responds that they are indeed someone's children. What really happened... we all know. The cops did not behave like this at all (in Delhi, and then in Jharkhand). And because the ad's emotional protagonist is a policewoman, the very institution that is implicated in the conflict gets to become the source of moral resolution! Even the minister's response in the ad is almost benign: "Why are you supporting them like they are your children?". If the ruling regime's ministers had actually responded to student protesters with something along the lines of, "These are our children too, and therefore we need to listen to them", then the ad would be celebrating an existing civic ethic. But when the real political rhetoric is "anti-national" and "foreign-funded", the advertising story becomes almost an aspirational rewrite of the state's response. Politically, it becomes a very convenient way of laundering (via Safed detergent, probably) the uglier reality that we saw. In the Pepsi ad, the product itself was the mechanism of reconciliation. In Safed's ad, detergent isn't what resolves the protest. The protagonist's maternal empathy does. The brand then metaphorically appropriates that quality. So, Pepsi made protest into a stage for selling reconciliation through a can of cola. Safed makes protest into a stage for selling empathy through a mother's instinct, while largely removing the violence, the political grievances and the state's nasty response that made the protest necessary in the first place. Watch the Pepsi ad here: #advertising #marketing

Seeing Chaprasi Pawan Khera 🇮🇳 ಪವನ್ ಖೇರಾ giving Gyan on⛽️prices instead of doing his job of cleaning toilet of Rahul Ghandy. Aaj Piddiyon ko nanga karte hi hai! 👉Useless UPA ~Global Oil Prices High ~What UPA should've done to protect Oil Cos & Consumers?- SUBSIDY! ~UPA DIDN'T GIVE SUBSIDY. Why? ~Because Fiscal Deficit was under stress & giving cash subsidy wasn't possible. Why? ~Because UPA had looted State Exchequer worth ₹4-5 Lakh Crore worth scams, sometimes causing notional losses, sometimes with actual loot. It didn't have money now to give cash subsidy to Oil Cos. ~What did UPA do then?— it issued Oil Bonds of ₹1.48 Lakh Crore deferring payment after 2020. ~Means Oil Prices must not increase to result in Loss of Votes for CONgress, Economy gayi bhadd mei. Aaj ki maut kal pe dalo. Simple Question— If CONgress Govt wouldn't have indulged in alleged corruption of ₹4-5 Lakh Crore, wouldn't it have been in a position to give cash subsidy of just ₹1.48 Lakh Crore to give relief to consumers & protect Oil Cos as well? But Miniting Money for Self was/is/will be more imp for CONgress than the Nation. 👉Magnificent Modi Sarkar Modi Sarkar has FULLY REPAID these Oil Bonds NOW! Principal: ₹1.48 Lakh Crore Interest paid (over years): ₹1.7 Lakh Crore Total: ₹3.18 Lakh Crore THIS👆 THIS WAS THE REASON WHY MODI SARKAR COULDN'T GIVE RELIEF TO CONSUMERS POST 2014 BY REDUCING RETAIL OIL PRICES DESPITE GLOBAL FUEL BECOMING CHEAPER THAN PRE-2014. And look at the audacity of Piddis who question Modi Sarkar why didn't you reduce Prices! Abe BoseDwalon, tumhare najayaj baap ke paap dho rahi thi Modi Sarkar & that too while not increasing fuel prices for straight 6 yrs. NOW ONCE OIL BONDS ARE REPAID, Modi Sarkar has given with biggest relief to consumers by reducing excise duty by ₹10/ltr on both Petrol & Diesel. Now Chaprasi Pawan Khera screams while washing Rahul Ghandy's Commode that it's not going to reduce prices & how is it relief then? Abe Hutiye, it won't reduce prices but IT WON'T ALLOW INCREASE IN PRICES EITHER...something that's happening all over World. INCREASE IN FUEL PRICES SINCE IRAN WAR: USA – ~20% Canada – ~28% Italy – ~16% Germany – ~14% China – ~12% Japan – ~18% Australia – ~36% Pakistan – ~20–24% Sri Lanka – ~25–34% Bangladesh – ~5% (50% of landmass running dry) Indonesia – ~10% Malaysia – ~5% (heavily subsidised) Turkey – ~20% 🔥BHARAT- ZERO % Yeh hota hai fiscal management, BoseDwalon Piddiyon. Yeh hota hai Pro-People Governence, Hutiye Khera. Baap ko na sikhao bachche kaise paida karne hai. Modi Sarkar has also levied export duty on Diesel at ₹21.5 per litre & on ATF at ₹29.5 per litre to protect interest of Domestic Consumers. So Modi Sarkar is sacrificing revenue from Excise on Fuel as well as Foreign Currency through Export of Fuel..... STILL Nation Running Smooth, Fuel & LPG Supply Regular, Defence Procurements happening, No Salary Cuts, Inflation under control, GDP Growth intact.... Koi bolo inn Piddiyon ko ki jakar apne Najayaj Baap se puchche...if even 10% of this was possible for CONgress to achieve FOR the Nation!
