When I was about six years old, I loved going to my grandfather's store & grabbing handfuls of candy right off the shelves. My dad would always tell me, You can't do that unless I pay for it. But my grandfather would just smile and say, It's okay take as much as you want. That's exactly how I felt watching this video with all that candy. It brought me right back to those sweet childhood memories and the joy of being my grandfather's little girl, with all that candy. I also used to sit on my grandfather's lap and tell him stories. I'm sure they were wild, imaginative tales that only a little girl could dream up, but he always listened with patience and interest. He never rushed me or made me feel unimportant. He simply sat there, smiling and listening to every word. Those moments are some of my most treasured memories. My grandfather made me feel loved, heard, and special. I love my grandfather, and I will always carry those memories in my heart.
