Oh nice! Today I learned that macOS has a built-in background sound feature. This allows you to listen to various background sounds such as rain, ocean, white and dark noise to help you stay focused. You can find it in the accessibility settings!

If you're using @raycastapp there's an extension to toggle them on and off and even change the sound. Pretty nice.

Bryte’s gentle waves of motion work in harmony with calming audio to help you relax, unwind, and drift off. These soothing, head-to-toe movements create an immersive experience that feels like being lulled into a serene escape, transforming bedtime into a journey to amazing places. Where do you want to drift off to tonight?

cool

Nice! I will try it for sure 😄

iOS supports it too !

An interesting article on how the hotkey was created for turning it on and off

Waooo thanks man!!! You just saved a lot of mb I used to play YouTube videos while working

Thanks for the tip... didn't know about this feature either 🙂

Cool that’s built in! Personally I use @EndelSound, they have all of those backgrounds sounds, also sounds to help with tinnitus, adhd, focus, relaxation and sleep. Everything in one place! Love it!

Oh daaaamn, this is really nice!

There is a workflow for #Alfred to toggle them on and off.
