I am all for strange things that you can implement into your daily life that have positive health benefits. This is a nice one that tests your balance and proprioception as your head moves through different angles and planes of movement while you are travelling through space. It looks simple, but you will soon feel that walking is not the same as when your head is in place, as it normally is. Another one is to move your eyes in different directions, opposite to where your head is moving, and still maintain a semblance of balance. Start slow and feel your way into this.

Reverse hypers aren’t a “maybe” for me, they’re a staple. I do them almost every time I train. And the machine is always open - I have never seen anyone else use it at the gym - a freaking travesty. Louie Simmons created the reverse hyper because his back was wrecked and he needed a way to decompress the spine while strengthening the posterior chain. It works because it does both at the same time. You’re training glutes, hamstrings, and low back while tractioning the spine every rep. That’s rare. And yes, I use momentum on purpose. Controlled momentum increases blood flow, pumps nutrients into the low back, and creates that decompressive effect Louie designed it for. This isn’t a slow grind lift. It’s about rhythm, traction, and restoring your back while making it stronger. If your lower back hurts, feels tight, or limits your training, reverse hypers aren’t optional. They’re insurance. Narratively it nails the lore and Assassin vs Templar history. Gameplay-wise and aesthetically however, it leans hard into action/fantasy while sidelining the stealth and style that defined the series. “PROVE ME WRONG” Why is your palm pistol guy (Rick Cutler) looking at the suspected shooter? Control Resonant is one of the easiest "recommends" of the year. Taking on the perspective of Dylan, the brother of the protagonist Jesse from the first game, the game feels like the opposite side of the same coin making it feel wholly like Control and simultaneously wholly different. The combat is limited only by your imagination. Change which plane gravity pulls you toward mid-fight, shifting the world around you. Open with a shortsword chaining into iron gauntlets to pummel the enemy on their backfoot, and drill into them to fully stagger. Within the first 5 hours you'll make several choices about your build and your weapons that will make your approach distinct and unique, branching off into dozens of combinations. The story is compelling, starting a little slow but gathering momentum for what can only be described as a snowball story tumbling rapidly down a hill for the lion's share of the game. While I prefer the ethereal mind-bending office space environment of the first game, the sprawling cityscape folding around itself is the perfect playground for Dylan's skillset to shine. I can't recommend this game enough. And this is NOT a sponsored post.
