unrelated but I'm pretty sure this is an AI voice, I've heard it a lot from freelance gigs and it's painful how often I notice it now in A LOT of vids, it's such a turn off

Is this even true or just speculation? I watch movies on my phone, but I don't hold the phone 10 feet from my face. My eyes still work. I see more details watching a modern movie on my phone than I did watching a movie on VHS in the 1990s.

They do not purposely do this lol. Streaming movies and tv shows have much lower budgets and time constraints. Don’t exactly always have the luxury of grand production design
