The fact that they've never revisited this concept of a Sonic racing game that has everyone on foot with some platforming elements is such a shame tbh

Personally, i had a lot of fun with this game as well! The main reason why this game isn't liked much though, is because of the lack of tracks and the controls being too "slippery" for a 3d platformer. That and the fact you can beat this game under an hour.

It is a fantastic game! Far better than people make it out, that's for sure. Although I reccommend playing the GameCube version on Gems Collection. It doesn't have all that pop in and the textures are far better. It's just overall the better version imo. You can also play the PC version with mods to modernize it and make it work on newer PCs.
