On Monday, I felt stuck (creatively) so I asked @chelsea for advice. I showed her this particle interaction, but it lacked an overall direction. Since this *is* a design portfolio, she suggested using it to navigate to recent work...

Somewhere between Act 1 and Act 2, I remember noticing the UI being manipulated manually by Harkonnen mentats. Knowing #designtwitter, this is a fun detail to obsess over, especially when you know that the universe in this story is anti-computers...

So @chelsea & I went to see the movie again on Wednesday, and as soon as we got home I kept tinkering with styles until I had a satisfying approximation of the general vibe (colors, lines, chromatic aberration, bloom) + an orbital path for 2 moons that results in an eclipse...

Anyway, that's it for this silly update to my portfolio— you can play with it on a desktop browser at Drawing the parallels between "spice" and these projects, I thought it would be a fun interaction to invite you, the viewer, to "navigate" my world.
