🇫🇷 My Take on the VIOLENT Protests in France: First of all, the killing of the 17-year-old boy is heartbreaking. A proper investigation should be conducted into the incident, and more training is needed. The police officer responsible for the killing should be held accountable. That being said, I do not agree with what is currently happening. Peaceful protests? Sure, I'm all for that. What I'm not in favor of is looting shops, many of which are small businesses or family-run establishments, vandalizing buildings, smashing cars, assaulting random people, arson, and so on. All it does is add fuel to the fire and worsen the situation. Meaningful discussion is necessary for genuine change, and peaceful protests could have led to that. Instead, what we have is hooligans on the streets and people trying to capitalize on an innocent boy's death rather than actually fighting for change, as they claim. Based on lots of beta feedback, the most requested missing feature of TanStack Table has been Cell Selection and Keyboard Navigation. And now, an official cellSelectionFeature has been added to V9! I originally started out thinking that we could just build an official example, showing you how to implement this stuff yourself, but then after I built it, I thought that it should at least be an official plugin. And then after just a couple hours more of refinement, I just ended up adding it as a stock feature. 😂 There are a couple reasons why this is now a new built-in stock feature: 1. That alone would automatically ensure the safety of all civilian infrastructure. A ceasefire — real and lasting — must be the first step toward a secure and enduring peace. Ukrainian representatives — both at the meetings held in Paris and at the meetings scheduled this week in London — will have a primary task regarding an unconditional ceasefire. That must be the starting point. Peace begins in silence.
