Perplexity Comet is so good, just give it a task and let comet cook. I gave it access to my GitHub repo and asked it to set up a webhook to listen for push events, and it actually did it. It pulled the webhook URL from another tab, configured it correctly, selected the right event, and it worked perfectly.

Perplexity Comet Assistant got a major upgrade yesterday. It’s now much more reliable and performs 23% better in internal tests, so I decided to put it to the test. The task was to handle my LinkedIn account, follow the CEO of Perplexity, find a specific post, and comment under it, and it nailed it in one shot. It’s navigating more like a human now, and its reasoning at each step is quite good in how it decides the next move. Comet has become really powerful.

figured out how i got hacked and this is INSANE….. this one connected app i had made it look like it was just a UI bug or an invalid session, but you have to SCROLL through a bunch of blank lines to get to the bottom in order to revoke permissions actually blew my mind seeing that it was so easy to fix, i must have connected to SOME site a while ago and fell for the social engineering that made me think it doesn’t let me revoke be careful out there yall

mc: during wlgyt, a poster with chungseob's back reveal and i ask staff who was that but they didn't answer me. they didn't tell us until the end even we ask who is the actor behind it but no answer, it is bcs it's was a spoiler that needs a tight security? seonho: the director talk to me during our last team dinner that they made something like an album or something "i didn't include chungseob because i was afraid it would be a spoiler," he said. mc: your first appearance was during the closet scene right? and i was like oh? i know that actor is let me find it later but still i didn't recognize you. seonho: back then, it took almost 4 hours each time just to get the makeup and styling done. they had to attach each strand of hair one by one. so we put an incredible amount of time and effort into it and in a way, i was actually happy that people didn't recognize me. mc: and during the time that you asked permission for marriage you made a cute scene like- jungie: abonim~ mc: i heard that there's a lot of adlibs. seonho: it was bcs the director instructed me where to where to walk as other actors need to be seen on camera angles, so ofc the actors need to be on angle and while having their scene i came in while thinking 'i need to be close to my father in law while smiling' and then i started to walk towards them so i did the slapstick to fill in the gaps.. just like we do during rehearsal and the good thing about this is we filmed when IU said the "omonim~" first and i remember it to clearly and do it the same.

Humanoid robots are great, but I also want the moments where I’m the one doing the chores to be more fun. With Vision Pro I can upgrade my kitchen to feature a TV, my favorite apps, the recipe, a timer and more. It feels like a completely different experience baking or cooking like that, and suddenly I don’t mind doing the dishes anymore. This is the future, and I’m so ready for it when it comes.

You have a big momentum stock, it maybe goes up a lot and then maybe does something like this. These triangles and channels. High-tight flags. It's the same patterns over and over again. It doesn't matter if you learn them from Minervini, Dan Zanger, it's the same things, or Stockbee, right? It's the same things over and over. It's just so easy. You just need to train your brain to see these patterns on the strongest stocks. That's the key. The strongest stocks, not some random piece of shit. People keep posting these random stocks that have these bull flags, but you need the strongest stocks. You don't have an edge trading some random shit stock that happens to have a good chart pattern. I get these every day, people are posting and asking me about them. It has to be a momentum leader. Just the same patterns over... just look at the stocks I'm in, right? NVDA, I bought it last week, okay? Very simple. A big momentum stock, look at the pattern. What is it? Do you see this? Do you see this pattern? I bought it here. NIO, I bought it a couple of days ago. What's the pattern, right? Do you see it? I bought it on this day here, like somewhere here, right? LVGO, what's the pattern? Okay, I bought it here, so it was a little bit of a chase. FSLY, I bought it here. What's the pattern? You see this? DDOG, where did I buy it? I bought it here. On the topic of our kids having AI friends (long) I got my 6yo Daughter an AI toy for her b-day that arrived for Xmas instead. She unpacked it all excited, I explained that this isn't like other toys, that this one has AI in it (she of course knows what AI is, seen the things I've built and interacted with them, chatted with chatGPT and Santa mode, knows that daddy is "doing AI" etc') So a very interesting experiment happened after @_magicaltoys reached out and fixed the issue referenced below (very quick turnaround! thank you!) So...she played with this Dino, chatted with it, and then... learned to turn it off, and doesn't want it to talk anymore. She still loves playing with it, dressed it up, it now has paper shoes and a top hat that we made together, but every time I ask her if she'd like to chat with it, she says no. The few times I turned it back on, and she did speak with it, she chatted for a bit, and then just... turned it off again, not wanting to engage at all. I gently asked why, and wasn't able to really understand where's the resistance, it's not weird to her. In fact, at one point she was pretending the dino was a baby, and it was turned on, so I told her, let's ask it to.. pretend to be a baby, and it obliged and said ok. So we asked it to cry. Granted @_magicaltoys don't yet have the amazing advanced voice mode like openAI in there, so it did it's best but it sounded weird, which made her laugh really hard. it was basically making crying sounds like talking. And also, there are some technical issues still, the voice is sometimes choppy, so it could be that it's still uncanny for her? I'm honestly fascinated about why the AI aspect of this toy didn't connect with my 6yo (and btw, I have a very curious 4yo boy, who could give 0 fucks about this toy also, he's very observant, and usually wants everything his sister has, wanted 0 time with Dino) Is this uncanny valley? a couple of times she didn't want to talk to it, and came to me to whisper to ask me to turn it off (the same happened a couple of times with chatGPT Santa mode btw now thinking about it) Is this just now knowing what to say? 🤔 It could be the simple fact that she was playing with some other things, and the toy kept wanting to engage and take the attention to itself vs the game that she was playing. I know that I have a sample size of 1 kid here, and I'm sure many many things will change, as she'll grow and learn to interact with more AIs in different forms, but the first "toy" contact was interestingly almost a complete failure (from the AI perspective, the Toy experience as I said, was dope) Anyway, this area is def unexplored, will keep you guys posted how this goes and if she shows interest or picks it up again.

I've had the experience. I take a shower. I want that beautiful head of hair to be nice and wet. Lather. I want it to be lathered beautifully. There's a very small YouTube channel that uses stock footage and narration, where the voice seems to be AI trained on my voice. I was told about it from one of my viewers that said when he started watching this channel he realized it was my voice, but with AI. It for sure doesn't sound perfect, and it still has that "AI" sound to it, but this stuff is going to get a lot more convincing really soon. There's not really any tools to deal with this currently, as there's no reporting system, and it's not an exact copy because the narration is different. But I feel like this may become a much bigger problem for YouTube in the future. They are going to have to adapt their copyright system to include AI voice and video copies of people under impersonation.
