Perplexity Comet is so good, just give it a task and let comet cook. I gave it access to my GitHub repo and asked it to set up a webhook to listen for push events, and it actually did it. It pulled the webhook URL from another tab, configured... show more

Perplexity Comet Assistant got a major upgrade yesterday. It’s now much more reliable and performs 23% better in internal tests, so I decided to put it to the test. The task was to handle my LinkedIn account, follow the CEO of Perplexity, find a specific post, and comment under it, and it nailed it in one shot. It’s navigating more like a human now, and its reasoning at each step is quite good in how it decides the next move. Comet has become really powerful.

Perplexity Comet is awesome if you find the right use case. I am using it for many things and one of them is asking Comet to do API endpoint testing using Postman after development. Give it enough context about the payload and other details and let it handle the rest. - It generated multiple payloads for different tests - It generated a final report for me after the full run This is awesome, Aravind bhai.

I asked my clawdbot to send a letter to me in the mail… and it actually did it. I gave it a crypto wallet and some USDC to make purchases with, and clawdbot went and read the agent documentation on postalform. It figured out how to draft an order with a PDF of the letter it wrote to me – then it used Stripe’s Purl cli and paid for the order using Stripe's new Machine Payments protocol. This is a huge step forward for real-world agentic task completion and commerce

Okay, first agentic trading session with placeholder done. It didn't go very smoothly unfortunately. There seems to be a bug where the Comet Assistant thinks it has filled out the Amount field, but it hasn't. Also, it kept forgetting that it was doing the trading agentically, and would switch to giving me instructions, and I had to remind it that it is my agentic trader. There's also a weird bug where it says it's going to buy one stock, but is actually navigating to a different page to buy a different stock. That being said, I'm a patient guy, and I know these are still the early days. I think I'm probably the first person to trade stocks with Comet, so I'm ready for all the bumps in the road. In the end, it did deploy close to $1,000, and built an initial portfolio - the Comet Portfolio 🦾☄️ Full video of the experience below, it took over 45 minutes to get this all rocking so grab a coffee or some popcorn and enjoy it - here's my first agentic trading session with the Comet Assistant 🔽

🚨NEW Interstellar Comet proves that 3I Atlas is NOT a natural comet! A new comet from far outside our Solar System is quietly speeding past our planet. It has a strange composition. It has an anti-tail. It has a velocity sufficient to carry it to Interstellar destinations. So why is it a natural comet and 3I Atlas isn't? Find out what Jordan has to say... #3iatlas #alien #oumuamua Source:

You have to push back on your clawd I asked to set up a meeting It said it can’t add Google meet links Literally told it “find a way to solve it” It found a solution and built a skill for it

I am happy to announce Hookdrop This is for every developer and team who's ever debugged a Stripe or Paystack webhook by squinting at logs and praying. Debugging webhooks shouldn't mean babysitting a provider dashboard. hookdrop gives you a permanent URL, so every webhook that hits it shows up instantly, live. Click it, see the full payload data, and verify their signature is actually real (most tools don't even do this part). Then replay it straight to your localhost. No need to trigger from the provider again every time you fix a bug. Get started at: [

🤯 Ditched Dia after using placeholder for a day! Comet feels truly agentic - it browses on your behalf to complete tasks. 🔥 👇 I asked for my LinkedIn stats. It opened the site, found the post, and pulled the numbers itself. 🚀

💬: why did you give a snack to the zombie? 👑: that was actually my emergency snack, but i saw the zombie’s hand, so i just gave it to them. i figured they’d be tired from filming and their blood sugar would drop. i don't just give that to anyone! it was originally an emergency snack i packed to eat myself 💬: was it a Margarete? 👑: how did you know? you’re right, it was a Margarete

You can now use Claude Code and GitHub CLI directly inside Perplexity Computer. We gave it an open issue on Openclaw. Computer: → Forked the repo → Wrote a plan to fix the bug → Opened Claude Code and implemented it → Submitted a PR via GitHub CLI

update: i gave chatgpt full access to the taskmaster github repo and asked it to produce a thorough investigation of the product, the code and architecture, and to pay special attention to LLM-powered test generation, which I particularly care about right now it responded with an 8-page Mackenzie consultant-level report that dives deep into everything I asked and more one really solid thing it did that taskmaster makes possible is I asked it to go through all of my Taskmaster task files and to give recommendations on which are most high value/high priority. While I already had researched these tasks, it does add value to get another perspective i’ve been used to this with o1 pro, but to see the level of reasoning achieved against a growing and reasonably large code base blew my mind overall, it provided: - general audit and best practice recommendations - suggestions for new features - recommendations for how to consolidate MCP tools from 25 to 5-6 - review of open npm i task-master-ai tasks - exploration of LLM powered test generation with full references of where it grabbed that information absolutely incredible

“I asked Allah to give me xyz but he didn’t give it to me and now I’m frustrated and sad” Did you ever think, my dear brother or sister, that Allah did not give you what or who you wished for, because He knew that if He did give it to you, it would destroy you? The money The person The job The house The car The holiday The opportunity The victory Whatever it was that you hoped and begged and worked and prayed for Think of a child who wants to pick something off the floor and put it in its mouth. The parent would take it away, no? Then the child would cry and scream “but I want it, I want it, I want it”, not knowing that the parent did not give the child what it wanted because if the parent did, it would harm the child As Allah says in the Quran, meaning, “But perhaps you hate a thing and it is good for you; and perhaps you love a thing and it is bad for you” (excerpt 2:216) (I’m not comparing Allah to His creation [I.e. a parent], it’s just an example to help frame the point I’m making more clearly)

Perplexity Comet is more impressive than people are giving it credit for. At least one person on my team bought a subscription within a few minutes of testing and thinks it will replace his Chrome use. A few thoughts from our team’s testing: - Research: comparable to ChatGPT, brought in good visuals - Labs (projects): generated its own images, text felt similar to Research - Voice: you know I love a good voice interface, you can tell it to pull up a link and it will do it for you - Webpage summary: big room for improvement

Giving Claude Code access to your codebase doesn't mean giving it access to everything. Deny rules let you draw hard lines. "But now I also want to add a deny rule and I just want to see what happens. So if I want to deny, maybe edit package.json. And now I'm going to still ask Claude to edit it for me." "So I'm just going to actually change this model to haiku because again, this is just a very simple task. So I'm going to like update the version in package.json to one. Now hopefully my permissions were set up correctly and it will be like, can't do that." "Yeah, so it says like, oh, I can't do that. So even if this was a tool call coming from the model, it won't run it. So this is like a great way to add more control over what Claude can and cannot do in your environment."
