Perplexity Comet is awesome if you find the right use case. I am using it for many things and one of them is asking Comet to do API endpoint testing using Postman after development. Give it enough context about the payload and other details and let it handle the rest. - It generated multiple payloads for different tests - It generated a final report for me after the full run This is awesome, Aravind bhai.

I asked my clawdbot to send a letter to me in the mail… and it actually did it. I gave it a crypto wallet and some USDC to make purchases with, and clawdbot went and read the agent documentation on postalform. It figured out how to draft an order with a PDF of the letter it wrote to me – then it used Stripe’s Purl cli and paid for the order using Stripe's new Machine Payments protocol. Okay, first agentic trading session with placeholder done. It didn't go very smoothly unfortunately. There seems to be a bug where the Comet Assistant thinks it has filled out the Amount field, but it hasn't. Also, it kept forgetting that it was doing the trading agentically, and would switch to giving me instructions, and I had to remind it that it is my agentic trader. There's also a weird bug where it says it's going to buy one stock, but is actually navigating to a different page to buy a different stock. That being said, I'm a patient guy, and I know these are still the early days. I think I'm probably the first person to trade stocks with Comet, so I'm ready for all the bumps in the road. In the end, it did deploy close to $1,000, and built an initial portfolio - the Comet Portfolio 🦾☄️ Full video of the experience below, it took over 45 minutes to get this all rocking so grab a coffee or some popcorn and enjoy it - here's my first agentic trading session with the Comet Assistant 🔽

Build MCP - I gave it MCP python SDK github repo and asked it to build a MCP that fetch latest reddit posts - It actually read doc -> Find examples in git repo - Wrote correct code - When error, it won't go in circle like cursor/replit; It actually refer back to git doc & examples again - Fix all issues and make it a package - Completed the actual functional MCP in 20 mins Session link:

You can just ask Perplexity Comet to generate a video for you using Veo 3 inside Gemini 🙂 You can either give a detailed prompt with steps or just keep it simple like this, both work: Comet Prompt: You have access to the Gemini interface, use it to generate a video and wait for rendering to complete. Prompt: It figures out the rest. Where to paste the prompt, whether to click the video option, everything. Pretty smart.

update: i gave chatgpt full access to the taskmaster github repo and asked it to produce a thorough investigation of the product, the code and architecture, and to pay special attention to LLM-powered test generation, which I particularly care about right now it responded with an 8-page Mackenzie consultant-level report that dives deep into everything I asked and more one really solid thing it did that taskmaster makes possible is I asked it to go through all of my Taskmaster task files and to give recommendations on which are most high value/high priority. While I already had researched these tasks, it does add value to get another perspective i’ve been used to this with o1 pro, but to see the level of reasoning achieved against a growing and reasonably large code base blew my mind overall, it provided: - general audit and best practice recommendations - suggestions for new features - recommendations for how to consolidate MCP tools from 25 to 5-6 - review of open npm i task-master-ai tasks - exploration of LLM powered test generation with full references of where it grabbed that information absolutely incredible

"For Educational Purpose Only" Comet browser is dope even as an android app, as you're witnessing in the video it is capable of full scale automation of tasks like taking online exams. I took a JEE mock test and used the assistant feature to automatically pick the correct answer and complete the test, it took some persuasive prompting to convince it though 😊. It chose the answers from multiple choices and even typed answers for several questions that were not an MCQ (last few questions), it did a pretty decent job, attempted 24 questions from 1st section, 18 correct and 6 incorrect. One question seems to have been skipped by it somehow. All in just under "12 Minutes". If you look towards the end of the video, it struggles in certain areas like it fails to click the final "submit" button a couple of times and does it the third time correctly. These are my initial impressions of the comet browser Android app, can't wait to see what it'll be capable of in the upcoming days. what do you guys think about it?, comment down your thoughts, other use cases, it's future etc... So you can just give it a postgres URL (or sqlite db file) and it will just... explore it and offer to build things. Even with a crazy nonstandard (from Ecto perspective) database. The search bar crashed, I sent the logs to the agent, and boom realtime searching

Giving Claude Code access to your codebase doesn't mean giving it access to everything. Deny rules let you draw hard lines. "But now I also want to add a deny rule and I just want to see what happens. So if I want to deny, maybe edit package.json. And now I'm going to still ask Claude to edit it for me." "So I'm just going to actually change this model to haiku because again, this is just a very simple task. So I'm going to like update the version in package.json to one. Now hopefully my permissions were set up correctly and it will be like, can't do that." "Yeah, so it says like, oh, I can't do that. So even if this was a tool call coming from the model, it won't run it. So this is like a great way to add more control over what Claude can and cannot do in your environment."
