On #EndImpunity Day, we focus on journalists working in crises. Journalists are being killed, harassed, imprisoned and silenced, from Gaza and Ukraine to Sudan, Haiti and beyond. Governments must protect journalists & prosecute those responsible for attacks.

Attacks on media workers are rising & more than 4/5 killings of journalists go unpunished. This creates a climate of fear, leads to more violence against media workers, damages the search for facts & undermines justice. Impunity must end.

@UN #EndImpunity of the UN. #DefundTheUN #AbolishTheUN

Why do @UNRWA give out so many journalist vests in #Gaza?

@UNHumanRights and for civilian who accidentally discovered Austrian sexscandals ? do they have human rights to ? PR cam Austria abduct and torture them with illegal arrestwarrants?

Isis=al-kaide=hts They are all terroristis! Partners in humanitarian organizations!! SHAME! #StopAlawiteGenocideInSyria

Journalism is not a crime! Foreign reporters must be able to report from #Gaza !

On #EndImpunity Day, we must also remember Karakalpak journalists who have faced imprisonment, torture, and even death at the hands of Uzbek government. Despite these atrocities, their stories rarely reach global awareness, and their attackers remain unpunished. From silencing independent voices to brutalizing those who dare to document the realities of Karakalpakstan, Uzbek government has suppressed freedom of the press with impunity

@UN They are also being imprisoned in Britain

Those reporters live for these circumstances because they will stand out. Some will die going into dangerous environments.
