On March 21, 2006, Dorsey sent the first tweet, "just setting up my twttr". The completed version of Twitter debuted in July 2006.

Began programming? Nah that’s when he had it ready to show people. He started programming it at least a few months prior, depending on how good he was at programming at the time.
He was such a nice, clean cut young man.
