Cubs fan here. The Dewayne Wise play was just insane, especially given the circumstances. Total chills moment. Much respect to him and especially Buehrle.

Just by chance I happened to be there. It was great. Donated my tickets and score card to BBHOF.

I remember it like it was yesterday. Walked in from work turned on just in time to see Wise make that catch.

My brother and I were there and it was excellent. We called our friend, Rich Kuchar, who worked in the ticket office for the Sox to join us to watch the game in right field, while not letting up on drinking the yards of margaritas in right field… fearing if we stopped, we would be responsible for the blown perfect game. We did our part.

I'll never forget it since it was my birthday 🤣.. Of course I had to memorialize it by buying a framed auto with dirt from the mound.

My mom was at that game. Right behind the 3rd base dugout.

Buehrle faced the minimum 27 hitters three times. This perfect game. His other no hitter… he walked Sammy Sosa, I believe, then picked him off first. He also threw a 2 hitter in which both base runners were erased by DPs thus facing the minimum.
