On Tuesday, #Myanmar Armed Forces carried out their deadliest attack on civilians since the coup. More than 168 died – including children. The UK strongly condemns this cowardly attack. It is against international law and totally indefensible.

The UK believes the Security Council should condemn this attack. That is why we proposed a joint statement, which most – but not all – Council members supported. This is deeply concerning given the junta has not denied it.

The UK has sanctioned the Myanmar military leadership and entities supplying them with weapons. We will do all we can to hold the military regime to account. The Myanmar people deserve democracy – not death.

All leaders shall save to Myanmar peoples coz Juntas didn’t care to comply with #UNSC resolution& #ASEAN’s 5PC since April 2021. One way only, #US,#UK,#UNR2P to take military actions to brutal juntas to surrender.Otherwise the innocent civilians were killed by junta’s airstrikes.
