The storms on Friday had hurricane-level wind activity causing outages for more than 244,000 customers in our service area.

We've restored more than 87% of customers and are still working large outages and assigning crews to smaller outages as well, thanks to the added support of our line crew peers from neighboring utilities. The assist is greatly appreciated by Evergy and our customers! 💚💙
