That match was peak football. The game has gone downhill since then. Less passion, character and fight. VAR and the new rules this season are stripping the game of any remaining drama and passion.

Those were the days. The most intense rivalry there has been in English football was Arsenal-United 98-06. The passion and indeed often hatred, was real. Great to see Fermanagh man Roy Carroll there too even if he was in the enemy camp. Great result today 😀
