Why is there never any accountability when it comes to employers. It seems they operate teetering on the edge of ethical incompetence at times when it comes to hiring. If I make a mistake on the application then I can easily be disqualified without an explanation for a job. But how can they offer me a job and then take it away because they didn’t check my availability? Is it because they thought if they offered me enough money I would change my mind? Would that work with you? I can be flexible but I do keep a schedule for a reason.

There are lots of great fight scenes in Yen-Ping Chu's "A Book of Heroes" (1986), but for me, this one is the most fun and hottest of the lot. The music, the fight & comedy all work to perfection in this scene. If you haven't seen the movie, I highly recommend it. This is the right day to watch as its the 40th anniversary of the movie. You won't be disappointed.

ANATOMY OF A SCENE: Shaka humanized scene On the first episode of Season 2 of #ShakaiLembeS2, this was my favourite scene. This scene while at face value is about showing Shaka's strategic forward thinking and some modicum of "umusa". Oh, but it does so much more. In a country where the viewers like melodrama, in its quietness this scene drives the story forward. It is setting up the character flaws and qualities that will be exhibited by Shaka later in his lifestory. When Shaka cuts Sompisi's ear later in the episode, it is a seed that is planted in this scene of his character as a person — HE can be merciful in his brutality. PERFORMANCE... For me, this is the best scene when it comes to performance in this episode. As a viewer, I feel like I'm invading the privacy of these two actors / characters. The actor playing opposite Shaka is performing ... I believe him. He is in it! If you catch my drift. I feel his pain and understand his anger towards Shaka. You can see the emotions simmering and bubbling inside the actor. Lemo also plays it perfectly in this moment by flattening his delivery. You are not supposed to read Shaka beyond his words here. Wrong director and performances, this scene would have been played for shock value. But, thankfully, this team gave us a measured but intentionally layered scene.

🎬 From all the long take that we shot. There is one scene that I like the most. I can said that it’s my most favourite scene in this series. When you ask me for the scene that I like this one will pop up. It’s Mix’s scene, the character Dean. Which is a long take. It’s almost the end, maybe EP9. 🎤You can’t say it yet. But please wait ans see. 🎤You already spoil that it’s Mix’s scene with long take but you didn’t spoil the story. 🎬Please wait and see. I love it so much. On the day that we film. I was like “yes this is it.” On the day when I’m in editing room. I like it so much no matter how many times I watch it. 🎤Was it hard? 🎬It’s a bit hard in term of emotions for the character. I don’t want to spoil it too much because you might know what gonna happen next. But it clearly show that Dean is really a professional. Even the actor, which is Mix.
