What is this? I dont understand the usefulness of this information. Why is she on duty when she is in labour?

She wasn't in labor when she come to work

@Dunnverah Accepted she wasn't in labour as at resumption time, but the moment she started labouring should they still see her as normal staff on duty? That is pure wickedness and such hospitals should be reported as it's obvious they lack manpower to attend to such a situation

@bolajiayo @Dunnverah According to the video, she was on maternity leave but came to work because of her friend. Please, how is that possible? The maternity leave has already been granted by the management, and she is not supposed to resume work until the end of her leave. The story is not storing.

@fakolade_tj @bolajiayo @Dunnverah Some nurses get attached to patients and promise to be present on the day of delivery whether she's on-duty or not.

@Akanbifisayo @fakolade_tj @bolajiayo Ok

You guys didn’t hear when the nurse Vicky said she was on maternity leave but decides to come midwife her friend? Asking “why she’s still on duty” up and down.

You're the only one that understands this

Like, it’s there in plain sight (video). It baffles me o is it that people watch video without listening or I don’t know what to make of this sef. Nobody should come for me cos my mouth nor good oooo be-warned!

I don't see any professionalism in this, why will a hospital ask a nurse in Labour that should be a patient to be attended to be asked to attend to another patient in Labour. She can't be coordinated and fucus bcos she too needs to be care for.

She wasn't in Labor when the pregnant woman come you can see that

But she too is almost due which implies she shouldn't be in duty at that time

The woman in labour is her friend...she came to take care of her friend as nurse she's but universe have it that she'll also have her own baby around same time We need to learn how to comprehend

Healthcare workers constantly show up for others even when they’re dealing with their own struggles. It’s a level of dedication and humanity that deserves real respect.

Beyond the humour, she should be cannulated immediately, and monitored closely. A women should not be having this kind of contraction without adequate fetomaternal monitoring.

Omo some people really lack comprehension.. she was on maternity leave but decided to come and help her friend that was in labor at the process her own started.

You see all these senior nurses, Matron and above dem no dey pity pregnant women. Because of years of experience, they've become Principalities and powers of See Finish 🤣😂..... I love the fact that she said Congratulations even while they're still in labour.

Maternity leave is given a month to delivery in most organizations so why is she still working. This is sad to watch and someone should have taken over when labor started.

Even if it was her friend that she came to help still doesn’t make sense and it’s not professional. You say she’s in labor too then she should also be on bed not rubbing her friend back. She doesn’t want her back to be rubbed too? Abi which kind thing be this video for God sake😂

She’s heavily pregnant and she shouldn’t be on duty at all.

@Crystaleenoo There is nothing remarkable about this. While on duty, if anything changes, you leave that scene for your safety and that of the patient. Once she started having labor pains, she should leave and also get attention.

Who should be massaging and helping who here. This is a toxic workplace.

This nurse is actually doing rubbish All in the name of engagements What do you mean she should call her husband for someone who is trying to bare severe pain!!

This is absolute nonsense. Absolute nonsense I repeat. You can't be in labour and continue your duty.!!! You are risking 4 lives all at once.

The anxiety of the other woman push the nurse to labor I pray both are fine

If you're on maternity leave and decides to stay with a friend, then you're not supposed to be on uniform or the nurse for that patient. All shades of wrong both for proper care of the patient and care of the nurse in labor. Worst still sharing this on social media.

This is some comedy or what? Why is someone videoing this?

The nurse did no go on maternity leave? 🙄

All this just for show off

Naija just Dey born 😂 Una too like fuck

That nurse should be queried if at all she is a nurse! No expecting nurse or health care personal that is due and have her EDD at hand and still dont know how to plan her schedule talkless of wearing scrub in labour room! She is obviously a wack

there’s nothing professional here this is m@dness shes not even suppose to be at work as a pregnant woman Since when did pushing beyond limits become professional

The dedication of healthcare workers never ceases to amaze me. Real heroes walk among us

She was on maternity leave, but came to support her friend who was in labour. Maybe the miracle hit hard, now she's also in labour. I pray they deliver safely. The kids are already sworn sisters/brothers

Omoo

Stories like this remind us that the people caring for us are carrying their own burdens too. A little kindness and patience toward healthcare workers can go a long way.

The lackadaisical attitude of these nurses witnessing the pregnant nurse is just tiring to watch. What if she lost that child because they wanna talk rubbish, waste time and make videos. You see how people lose their licence over misbehaviour?

She would have known there’s a possibility of this happening to her being a nurse. When you see someone in labour, it can be a psychological trigger and you go into labour yourself if you’re due. Women who aren’t due can get Braxton hicks. Her contraction is strong and they asked her to maintain steeze 😅

Omo labor pains making the woman speak gibberish

So there is no other nurse that can be assigned to the patient We will keep doing ourselves till we get it right

We bear alot of things just to provide comfort to others.

May you deliver safely with twins

I don't really know what's wrong with some of people in the comment section, you watched the video, u heard what nurse Vicky said and u still jump in to the comment section to be asking nonsense questions, haba! Na who do una bikonu😡

Well ! It best to watch this video with understanding This patient in question is her friend ,she came to work because of her ,is what I can do if had already promise my friend to be there during her delivery.this has nothing to do with being professional or not
