One person died while two others were injured when two private vehicles collided head-on along Borrowdale Road in Harare this Saturday morning. According to an eye witness, the accident, which occurred around 7am near St Georges College, was caused by a speeding Honda Fit which swerved onto the oncoming lane and collided with a Toyota GD6. The driver of the Honda Fit died on the spot. Police are yet to confirm the accident.

Two teens have died after a car plunged from a bridge over the M1 and hit a minibus below near junction 20 The crash happened at about 1.30pm on Friday when the blue car left Gilmorton Lane and collided with the southbound white Fiat Ducato minibus. The two teenagers in the car died at the scene. Four people in the minibus were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The driver was later discharged and three women remain in hospital. The M1 was closed in both directions for nearly 10 hours while forensic work and an accident investigation took place.
