Anime* pacing The manga pacing is as fast as you can read. The toho anime is the worst way to consume one piece.

I still remember how people were trying to downplay this scene by saying the slow walk to Arlong was bad. 😭 One Piece has bad pacing moments but the haters never know the right scene to point to

one piece was the first proper anime i sat down and watched back in 2022 and i thought all animes were like that so i never watched it again until i came back a year later and then quit at ep903 its just THAT slow

I don’t watch One Piece and even I agree with this. Like, my little brother was at that one arc where they were getting that Robin lady from prison and they kept replaying the same part where she says “I want to live” over and over again at the end of like 5 or 6 episodes.

all this for an 8 second scene of really smooth flowy animation where luffy just laughs and does nothing

specially that Dressrosa arc fucking hell, Scarlett only had 2 things in the plot bruh, her naked breasts and non ending same repetitive flashbacks

I watched up to 831. Shit traumatized me so hard I started mainly reading mangas and not watching an anime over 100 episodes.
