I swear its only a matter of time. STOP. DOING. STUFF. LIKE. THIS. PEOPLE!! LEARN. TO. DRIVE. AND. LEARN. TO. CHASE. WITHOUT. FOLLOWING. THE. DOM. Team Dom did nothing wrong here, but I have to show the whole clip for context. Its a good thing this tornado didn't rapidly expand, speed up, strengthen etc etc... and yes I realize I too put myself at risk by hanging out too long, my mistake is assuming my escape route will be free of insanity and I can actually move at the speed I intend to.

If you listened to my podcast with Young-Hoo Kwon you will have heard him talk a lot about lateral and vertical motion in the swing (especially when speed is the goal). Summary (for maximizing your speed) : Shift right and up early in the backswing. Fall left and down in transition Then absolutely smash it I would have liked to see force plate data from this one. To any of the coaches / speed enthusiasts following, where can I improve for 200mph 😎😬?

Another weekend project: GridStore Jean Cavallera and I are building simple but useful dApps that make LUKSO more accessible and easier to use. This is GridStore, an “app store” for Grid templates. You can choose a template you like and, with a single transaction, upload it to your Universal Profile and use it as your Grid. This is made possible by LSP28 The Grid, where the configurations of your Grid are stored in a JSON file on IPFS. The value stored under your ⁩LSP28TheGrid⁨ data key stored on your Universal Profile points to your grid configuration JSON file. By adding the value of a grid template you like under the ⁩LSP28TheGriddata key, you can set immediately that template on your Grid and start customizing it, saving you time. Here’s my submission for the Paper x Contra challenge, it's a tool I built called Visual Poetry. I write poems and randomly associate them with things like flowers or butterflies. I built this little tool that lets me turn the words in the poems into pixels to literally draw out any object (inspired by typewriter and ASCII art). I used Pretext to render the text and Paper to tweak the whole UI, and used Cursor to help me build it I was super close to the deadline and finally managed to finish it up just in time, phew!

Mental Health tip for today… “Throw a party in your heart!!!” One of the best things about opening up fully about my mental health battles has been the learning journey I’ve since gone on. Now, as a result, I have new tools to fight my depression and anxiety, new rituals to navigate through that gray I live in. This is pretty cool and I learned it from a monk in Thailand (literally) and I now use it every night of my life to change what nights look like for me. I used to go to sleep absolutely dreading those first 15 minutes I laid my head on my pillow because I didn’t know how to like or love myself and I was laying there with someone I felt didn’t deserve to be liked or loved. Now, I use this tip to end my night on a MUCHHHH better plane and as a result start my day a little better. Give it a listen and if it resonates with you give it a try. In 2024, long drive pro, Dr Sam Attanasio, set a new world record clubhead speed of 172.5mph to match the ball speed record he also has at 245mph. I couldn’t fathom these numbers, so I recorded a podcast with him and his business partner at Speed Toad, Bryce Mooney, to talk about how it’s achieved. I really enjoyed this chat and recommend a listen if you have distance goals for the new year, or just want to understand how the human body is capable of pushing itself to the max. Speed gains are now a huge part of the sport, and getting faster should be an aim of every serious golfer whether you want to compete at the highest level possible or just have more fun on the course. 🐥: I was full of arrogance in the beginning, but after i made my debut i felt so small. So from then i lost a lot of my mental strength. As soon as i made my debut I thought I was... I thought I was the best and I thought I was in first place [...]. My self worth was so high, but after that, was destroyed in one instant. in my head, it took me a long time to build this up, but i think the process of building myself up, unlike bulding a sand castle, you build it up little by little. so i feel like internally, i have became more resilient, compared to before.

At the start of this year, Phil Mickelson had a crushing ball speed of 165mph. Within 2 months he upped that to high 170’s and topping over 180. That’s an incredible jump for a man in his 50’s! He puts it down to training with speed sticks and explains how he has to change his release the faster he gets. “What I do notice is as I speed the swing up, I have to change the release point of my golf swing. I use length to create the leverage that I want, so it takes a lot of pressure off. But, as I do that, I have to change where the release is. But if I speed up, when I get down to the ball the face will be open. So I have to feel like I’m releasing the club a little bit earlier.” Lefty is a master at going deep in explaining the technicals of the golf swing.
