Only german people know that the Language is not aggressive

To me, a german, this sounded like most normal conversation between a worried mother and an annoyed daughter 😄

Wait why does it sound so cute?

Didn't sound aggressive at all, contextually I feel like I actually understood a good chunk of it too.

It really isn't xD many friends tried to explain but I could never hear it 😔 🤣

I don't speak German, but I can tell it was a normal conversation. It didn't sound aggressive, if anything it was annoyance with the mother. Most likely the mother asking where she was going and who with, like any concerned parent would.

That face at the end, lol

In fact is it how we speak with each other:). Yes, we can Spell it absolutly friendly and beautiful. Why we had Schiller, Goethe & other? They have know, how they write with this language. I think, we must sit down and think about it, how we can speak or write & use German.

This didn't sound agressive to me at all. Then again I used to speak German, haven't kept up with it since I moved to the states but my older sister is still fluent

See it’s not about if it’s a agressive language. As an American, I just can’t figure out how many syllables you just used for each word. Because that literally sounded like you used an entire sentence in each breath.

Ngl I had my misconceptions (which formed when I was like 4) about a few languages, but after hearing a great Russian (I think) song. I’ve been more interested in less common westerner languages. Like Hungarian, Romanian, etc. Stuff not taught often enough in the US near me.

Most normal conversation between parents and children ever lol This happens all the time even when you are an adult LMAO

unfassbar, das du es so freundlich machst. Ich hätte das viel aggressiver gemacht xD

I can sound aggressive when speaking German - on the other hand I can also sound aggressive when speaking English Neither proves that a language is more or less aggressive sounding.

Proceeds to speak the least aggressive German I’ve ever heard.

the fact that i know very very little german but understand some of that is crazy to me

You can try to gaslight me as hard as you want with the edits. But that "yea ha" is very cute at 0:48

so that a normal conversation in German right..... right everybody???

That sounded normal to me oddly enough and I'm not even German!

😅😂

I want McDonald's

She started off H🔥T but sounded cuter and cuter later in da call

Is McDonald's about to get blitzkrieged now?

Hello, I need dubbing for a short German film.

Italy from Hetalia once said “German women are scary”

It may not be aggressive, but I kinda want it to be.

When i hear my father speaking Russian on his mobile phone, it sounds like he's going to war, but when my mom speaks Russian, it sounds pleasant and relaxed. 😅

Doesn't sound as aggressive when she speaks it. I expect heavy metal growling. All I hear is, as one of the replies here states, "a worried mother and an annoyed daughter."

Ich bin Amerikaner und das klingt nach nem ganz normalen Gespräch uezs. Andererseits Schweizerdeutsch, lass mich nur sagen, es ist ja kein Wunder dass sie Ricola erfunden haben. 😂

I don't think it sounds aggressive. It's such a beautiful language 😍

Lotta should talk more in spanish

Creo que es porque el idioma tiene muchas palabras que al pronunciarlas se escuchan con gruñidos

German has a lot of sounds that may seem “harsh” to other listeners, so it tends to more easily sound aggressive to them than other languages would in the same context.
