You know why this clip isn't even 30 seconds long? B/c some woman came along to screech at him.

From my deck. Ahhh...

3 things a man can watch will never feel like time is wasted 1 - A River Running 2 - A Fire Burning 3 - A Craftsman work on his Craft.

A dude can sit in that exact spot for a full day and think he had a great time.

My current situation

A good man can solve so many problems in moments like this. You can almost hear the river calming his mind.

...actually...many real women do as well...😘

How is loving nature and the peace it offers exclusive to men? Because I love that shit.

For the women that think it’s just about nature, here’s a hint… it’s more about this sort of thing

Not true. Country women understand this and need it just as much!

Been there done that, love it.

Me on Saturday (River Spey, Scotland)

I understand there are women in the comments saying "not true, women do this too." Perhaps, but our reasons couldn't be more different. That's not a dig at your reasons - they are important to you. It's just...different.

In 2017 after no vacation for 7 years I did this for 20 min before people got up. Mind you it hasn't happened again but I look forward to the possibility.

As a female I understand. That’s me just with a ponytail. ❤️

I understand. I'm not a man. ♥️

I understand completely

After a life well lived and my time grows short, Dear Lord, may it be Your will my final days on this Earth are spent like this, marvelling at all Your hand has made. Amen.

I get it

A moment of peace spent in nature is a moment spent with the Lord! 👍😊

Men need walks through the woods, and time by a campfire at the river. Nature helps us disconnect from the worries of life so that we can recharge and get back into the battle with a sound mind, so that we can properly lead those that depend on our guidance and leadership.

I do. I’m doing it right now. No river or mountains in mine, but this suits me just fine

Indeed. This is why I keep a camp chair in my vehicle. Never know when you need to sit in the woods or next to water. Always be ready with beverages and food.

My bleedout spot is like this. I haven’t been there in years. I need to return for my therapy camping.

Hah. When we visited Montana I did this every morning with a blanket around me and every evening with a beer in hand.

There are three things a man can look at indefinitely: 1. Running water 2. Fire 3. Watching another guy do physical work

That’s my death chair. I’d like to sit in that chair and just listen and look around as my soul ascends from its vessel.

Some might get it. But the typical immature ladies will always bitch "Whadda bout me!, women get it, too, whadda bout women?!" If you really got it you would stfu.

Finally at peace 🕊️✌️.

I'm about to head out on a Cruise tomorrow. Not complaining, it's my wife's first. But to be honest, I would rather sit like this in front of a river without saying a word for hours. Maybe it is a man thing.

This ain’t bad.. only women will understand 😉

I feel for him. I know the feeling...when the beer cooler is empty.
