🚨Only one franchise in NBA history has done this three times. 👀 1987, David Robinson. #1 overall. Two years in the Navy first. They waited. He won Rookie of the Year the moment he stepped on the court. 1996, Robinson breaks his foot. Season over. Spurs go 20-62. Worst...

Two Hall of Famers, David Robinson and Tim Duncan: the legendary Twin Towers who built the foundation of Spurs greatness are still humble enough to sit among the fans, rocking the same playoff shirts as everyone else in the Frost Bank Center. No VIP separation, no ego. Just two of the greatest big men in NBA history blending in with the crowd, cheering on the next chapter led by Victor Wembanyama during Game 1 of the playoffs. That’s the Spurs way: class, loyalty, and culture that never fades. Still winning hearts in San Antonio. Go Spurs Go! 🏀🤍

Loserville flashback : 29 years ago today, May 18, 1997, the Boston Celtics held a 36% probability of landing the #1 pick and Tim Duncan. They fell to 3rd, and selected Chauncey Billups. The San Antonio Spurs won the lottery with the second-worst record, drafted Duncan, and went on to win five NBA championships with him.

CHECK THIS OUT 👀👇👇👇 The Spurs Played the Knicks in 1999 & won the Championship. Spurs had Tim Duncan & David Robinson also known as The TWIN TOWERS. The Twin Towers in NY was attacked in 2021. The influencer in this video forgot some information so I'm going to add here what he misses. The Spurs & Knicks play tomorrow for the Championship series. He shows The Statue of Liberty 🗽 in the video. The 🗽 is supposed to be one of the 30+ satanic monuments to be attacked & taken down. 💥 The Spurs Star player is Victor Wembanyama also known as ALIEN 👽, right now we are going through UFO Disclosure! The Knicks star player is Jalen Brunson. The Knicks selected him 33rd 😜 in the 2018 draft. Jalen's last name is Brunson, we are waiting for The BRUNSON case to go public ✅

Brian Scalebrine says Wemby is his MVP this year: "Ever since I watched Wemby live, he is the most impactful player I have ever seen... Historically the MVP has always been the greatest on/off. When it was Jokic he won MVP, last year it was SGA. When he's on the floor one of the best in the NBA and when he is off the Spurs are like a lottery team. Wemby leads the league in on/off. Also, he is 4-1 against SGA"

Horry inbounded the ball to Manu Ginobili, who got cornered by two Detroit defenders. Ginobili passed the ball back to Horry on the left wing, and in typical Horry fashion he buried a three-pointer with 5.9 seconds left to give the Spurs a 96-95 win and 3-2 series lead. The Knicks completed the best comeback in NBA history. Down 29 in the Finals. Wemby on the floor telling Mitch Robinson he's in his head. The refs whistling everything. The Spurs shooting lights out, 76 in the first half. That's a game you punt. Rest the starters, save their legs, close it out at home in Game 5. Nobody would have blamed them. Instead they outscored San Antonio by 30 the rest of the way. Jose Alvarado played 12 of the final 17 minutes and went right at the biggest man on earth. OG tipped in the game winner with 1.2 seconds left. Every reason to fold. They fought back anyway.

Spurs vs Knicks GAME 3 🏀 SPURS BACKS AGAINST THE WALL 🏀 I’m rolling with the San Antonio Spurs to win Game 3 tonight against the New York Knicks. Down 0-2 in the NBA Finals and finally returning home, this is a must-win situation for San Antonio. Championship teams respond when their season is on the line, and I expect the Spurs to come out with maximum urgency from the opening tip. The home crowd should provide a huge boost, and this feels like the spot where San Antonio delivers its best performance of the series. The Knicks have done their job by protecting home court and taking the first two games, but winning a third straight against a desperate Spurs team won’t be easy. Expect San Antonio’s stars to play heavy minutes and leave everything on the floor. The pressure is squarely on the home team tonight, and I believe they answer the call with a statement win to get back into the NBA Finals. #NBAFinals #GoSpursGo #KnicksVsSpurs #SportsBetting #GhostPicks

OKC drafted Kevin Durant in 2007. Russell Westbrook in 2008. James Harden in 2009. Three top picks. Three future MVPs. One small market team. In 2012 they reached the NBA Finals together. The greatest young core in basketball history. Then they lost all three. First Harden. OKC refused to pay him $4.5 million more per year. Traded him to Houston for role players and picks. Harden went on to win MVP in 2018 and score more points than anyone in the NBA over the following decade. Then Durant. Left for Golden State in 2016, joining the team that just beat them in the playoffs. Thunder fans never forgave him. Then Westbrook. His supermax became unmovable. Six teams. Six years. Never worked anywhere. Three MVPs. All gone. Most franchises never recover from losing one superstar. OKC lost three. But Sam Presti kept drafting. Kept developing. Kept accumulating picks. He used assets from those departures to build an entirely new dynasty. He drafted Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. Drafted Chet Holmgren. Developed Jalen Williams. SGA just won NBA MVP averaging 32.7 points per game then signed a $285 million extension. Holmgren signed $250 million. Jalen Williams signed $287 million. $822 million committed to three players built entirely from scratch. OKC won the NBA championship in 2025 - the youngest team ever to do it. Tonight they beat LeBron James in Game 1 of the Conference Semifinals. They lost Durant. They lost Harden. They lost Westbrook. And built something better than all three. Is OKC the greatest rebuild in sports history?

Tracy McGrady predicts Wembanyama will sweep the awards next season and lead the Spurs to a Championship: “So if I look at the NBA right now.. I would put my money on the San Antonio Spurs presently constructed. Because of the disappointment I think that happened to them this year, because of Wemby’s performance in the Finals, I’m sure he’s not happy with the way he played, so that’s going to motivate him in the offseason to even kick it up another notch. I’m sure he’s going to come back bigger and stronger. I’m sure he’s hearing where he needs to operate for him to be the most effective for his team. So all this stuff is coming into play to build this creative player that’s going to come back stronger. He’s going to win Defensive Player of the Year. He’s gonna win MVP. He’s gonna win the in-season Tournament MVP. He’s going to sweep. So for me, I think because he’s going to be motivated and they had a big let down and disappointment this year, I’m going San Antonio Spurs to be right back in that position and to win a championship." #GoSpursGo #PorVida

Knicks win the NBA Finals. My quick thoughts: -Team of destiny. Every game this series they were down double digits and found a way to win 4. That's grit, and it's an embodiment of the city itself. They won 15 of their last 16. Historic! -This whole thing starts with Jalen Brunson. His bball IQ might be the best in the league. He manipulated those young Spurs in the pick and roll. Love a good lefty! -Mike Brown finally got his. I've known him for years, and he's been int he game forever, and he put on a coaching masterclass with his staff. Shout out to Chris Jent too. Guy deserves a head coaching gig -OG Anunoby was incredible. Josh Hart was an engine, diving on the floor, squeezing the Spurs late. The Knicks wanted this one, bad! -As for the Spurs, no shame in this. You can't skip steps. They had to go through the heartbreak and they'll be back better for it. Wemby and Dylan Harper have the chance to be the next great All-NBA duo Congrats, New York. The city's gonna be hopping all summer.

Jalen Brunson is the most clutch player of our generation. Not a hot take. A pattern. He's led the NBA in playoff clutch points three postseasons in a row. He and Kobe Bryant are the only two players in NBA history to lead the league in total playoff clutch points for three consecutive seasons. The Spurs led by double digits in all five games. The Knicks won four of them. Every single win was a comeback. • Game 1, he scored 13 in the fourth. • Game 4, down 29, he put up 36. • Game 5, on the road, 45 points. Thirteen straight for New York in the fourth. Broke Willis Reed's franchise Finals record that stood since 1970. Since quarter data has been tracked, no player has averaged more fourth quarter points in the Finals. Brunson's at 11.2. Nobody else has ever cracked 10. And one more number nobody's ready for. Since 1997, only one player has scored at a higher rate in playoff crunch time than Brunson. Michael Jordan. Take out free throws and Brunson passes him. Guys spend whole careers chasing one moment like this. It's just another day at the office for Brunson. The clutch gene isn't a myth. It just plays point guard for the Knicks.

Wilt Chamberlain At 7’1” 249 lbs Had a 50 inch recorded vertical leap 🆙 He played EVERY single minute of game time in 1962 (only missing 8 minutes because he was ejected in one game) a NBA record 48.525 MPG ⏱️ He blocked a player so hard once he dislocated his shoulder ❌ He picked up a guy once at 240 lbs with one hand and put him over a rail/multiple stories of him lifting up cars from the back to help people without a car jack 💪🏼 Dunked a ball so hard when it went through the hoop it bounced on the foot of the defender and broke his toe 🤕 He ran the 100-yard dash in 10.9 seconds 💨 In college he would dunk his free throws (later banned) 🏀 Triple jumped more than 50 feet (won the Big Eight Conference track and field championships 3 consecutive years) 🏃‍♂️ He was named the All-Star MVP, won the Rookie of the Year award, and his first MVP award during his rookie season!! 🏆

Chris Broussard believes Wemby and the Spurs should follow the 2013 Spurs' revenge tour against the Knicks: "When you look at Jordan, LeBron, Larry Bird, Magic, Kobe, all these guys, and I put Wemby potentially could be in that class, how they responded to disheartening losses. They came back better, they improved their game, and they took off from there. And I expect (Wemby) to do the same thing. I also believe, I bet you Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, and maybe even Manu Ginobili have been in his ear.. and talked to him about 2013. When they blew it against the Heat and then they came back the next year with a vengeance. And didn't just want to win the championship, wanted to play Miami. I bet they want New York. They'll take whoever if they can win it, but I bet they want New York because of the way they lost, leading those games so big and then losing." #GoSpursGo #PorVida

Allen Iverson says he was so unstoppable one-on-one the NBA rewrote the rulebook to stop him and erased his signature move for good “I remember telling my teammates, how are they gonna stop me in the NBA? Can’t run no 2-3 zone, no 1-3-1, no box-and-one, they got to play me straight up, one-on-one” “Now, four scoring titles later, I don’t understand how a zone came back into the NBA. In the history of the NBA they never had zones” “You got this 6-foot dude winning scoring title after scoring title. Like, all right, now let’s implement a zone. They took the hop-step out the game too because I was hopping over double teams, they can’t stop me”
