I have seen a number of these videos floating around today. Totally onboard with Oreos being terrible and toxic, but science and truth does matter too. People claiming that there is fire retardant in the food is spouting nonsense. There are no fire retardant chemicals in Oreos that does this. This is a common phenomena called Intumesence where the sugars and starches in the cookie crates a carbon foam when exposed to flames and this foam insulates the underlying layers from heat. This is why it is not burning away. You can do the same experiment with 3 ingredient bread. A slab of meat also exhibit this behavior. Want to learn the science behind this, watch this excellent video...

Here's an imaginary X post: --- 🍪 **Shocking Revelation!** 🍪 Did you know that Oreo cookies were originally developed as a **fire retardant**?! 🧑‍🔧🔥 Back in the early 1900s, Nabisco was actually experimenting with food-grade materials to combat kitchen fires. The iconic black-and-white cookie was their unexpected success story! Who knew that our favorite snack had such a fiery beginning? 🔥🥧 #OreoMystery #SnackFacts #DidYouKnow --- Please note, this is entirely made up for entertainment purposes!

@upperpatriot Although Oreos are poison, I'm not sure this test shows anything meaningful. I think a steak would probably last as long with that flame lol

The biggest self-goal of the war on Iran? It may have killed Tehran’s ‘nuclear fatwa’. A country bombed twice in under a year by nuclear armed states while negotiating its nuclear future will draw only one lesson — develop nukes on priority. My take:

Joe Rogan Gets Chills as Author Paints Horrifying Picture of Nuclear War “It doesn’t end well. Not only does it not end well, five billion people are DEAD at the end of 72 minutes.” Annie Jacobsen says, “Hundreds of thousands of people in nuclear command and control” are practicing what would happen if “deterrence failed and we had a nuclear war.” “People now are beginning to realize if nuclear war begins, it doesn’t end until there is a nuclear holocaust.” Annie Jacobson is an investigative journalist and the author of “Nuclear War: A Scenario.”

Trump reveals the military is building a fallout bunker under his new ballroom: “The military is building a massive complex underneath the ballroom.” So nice to know that in the event of a nuclear war the corrupt politicians who caused the war will survive while we all die.

The billionaires’ kids will pay no price. But American kids have already died for a war of vanity and choice. A war that will result in hardline leadership remaining in Iran and no meaningful impact on their nuclear program. A likely moral and strategic disaster.
