Only question is where did he get the confidence that he could stop a sliding car in snow all alone? Roads are extremely slippery and connectivity is affected across the state. Please don’t rush just to see snow. 📍Manali

277 right now near Uptown. Please do not be on the roads if you don’t have to. Side roads are very slick and snow is building up. You can’t tell what’s a road and what’s a median. WSOCTV

We need a new pro at Rivers Edge in Alpena. I just called him and he said there is a frost delay!?!? Just for a blizzard where we are supposed to get 30 inches of snow???? Shameful.

Please don’t forget us in your prayers… 🙏 The situation is extremely dangerous. The skies over Khan Younis are filled with drones, and the bombing and destruction in the eastern areas never stop. 💔 Please don’t stop talking about Gaza… don’t leave us alone in this pain.

I've uncovered a bit more about FSD V14's behavior in the snow. FSD has an invisible & binary "Snow Mode" where it shifts in and out of a different profile upon detection of snow-covered roads. Snow Mode is either ON or OFF. It does not appear to be a gradient based on condition severity. Example: In the video below, you can see tiny bits of snow drifting across the highway surface. Before this snow appeared, FSD drove normally (at the speed limit or above). When it saw this snow, it instantly slowed to 10-15mph under the speed limit. Then, when the snow cleared, it sped back up. It did this multiple times over a 10 mile drive: >Drive Normally >Detect Snow >Enter Snow Mode >Slow Down >Snow is gone >Exit Snow Mode >Drive Normally In this particular instance driving between various conditions, Snow Mode was unnecessary for this type of snow drifting. Pressing the accelerator or increasing the speed profile does NOT override Snow Mode. Elon said last year they may need to create different versions of FSD for different regions, driving types, and weather (Deep snow vs. Manhattan, etc). This may be our first look at that separated version of FSD that is activated under a certain condition!

I'm now convinced based on this video that the second and third shots were just as justified as the first. We can see that the ICE agent is being hit by the car throughout the series of shots. The leftist argument that "we are seeing the front grill of the car, therefore he was not in front of the car" does not hold. A front bumper can absolutely side-bash you. The agent at this point does not have his eyes on the wheels, he does not know where they are headed. All he knows is that there is a car striking his body and he could get swallowed under the wheels, lose a leg, or die. There is no doubt that he was correct in his belief that he was in the process of being assaulted by a potentially deadly car attack.

In a warmer climate, snow levels rise and snow pack decreases by a HUGE amount. Why? Think about the difference in width of the mountain base vs peak. The drop in snow pack area is huge. (This is an idealized graphic, numbers are only to help explain). The result is this… 🧵 1/

🚨 The Western US is about to get RAILED by Snow. This begins early next week as an Atmospheric River of Moisture absolutely BLASTS the West Coast. ❄️ The heaviest Snow will fall in the Sierra Nevada, where up to 100 inches, nearly 8 FEET, could pile up mainly Monday through Wednesday. 🏔️ Heavy Snow is also likely in the Rockies, where places like Colorado and Utah have been STARVED for Snow. Multiple waves of Moisture could bring 1 Foot or more over several days. 🏔️ The Cascades get in on the action too, with up to 1 Foot or more possible. Some Snow arrives this weekend, with another stronger round next Wednesday. 🌧️ Lower elevations in California and Washington could see Flooding Rain, with localized totals pushing 3 inches or more. Overall, this is WELCOME news for our West Coast brotheren who have seen very little Snow over the past month. 👊 Enjoy the Snow and Rain, my brotheren.

New York City resident shows that under Zohran Mamdani this is the job they do plowing their roads for snow The snow is left in large piles right next to the vehicles. It then freezes, becomes rock hard and no one can move their cars She shows it also damaged her car

On Saturday evening a CAT Deputy who also happens be a Motor Deputy stopped this moped with no plates driving through the snow. The driver works in West Omaha and lives in near Carter Lake. Deputies warned him of the dangers driving his moped on snow packed roads and he agreed but added the moped is his only mode of transportation to work. The driver was given a warning for no proof of ownership and sent on his way home. We all want to make it to work and provide for our families, and it’s hard not to feel for someone who has no other way to get there. While it's not illegal, a two wheeled vehicle on snow-packed roads is very dangerous.

Areas that have really missed out on the snow this morning in the dry slot (including downtown) are seeing flakes starting to fly. This is sliding south out of Canton and Cumming.

“You drive a car in OYO state, Ibadan with Lagos plate number on our roads, WHY? it must be stopped. You are using our roads, using Lagos number, we will stop it”- Minister of Darkness and Misfortune. This is the retarded brain he plans to lead Oyo with.

If we’re telling you not to drive on snow- and ice-covered roads… please know this advice is backed by experience. How do we know? Well, today we had to rescue one of our own patrol vehicles after it decided the snow looked like a great parking spot. If a fully equipped sheriff’s vehicle can get stuck, your car can too. So do us (and yourselves) a favor: Stay home Stay warm Let the snow win today We promise the roads will still be there tomorrow. #SnowAndIce #LearnFromUS #StayOffTheRoads

🚨 THEY DIDN’T WANT YOU TO SEE THIS — MEN CAUGHT LOADING NYC SNOW INTO A U-HAUL AT NIGHT Two men were caught on camera shoveling piles of New York City snow straight off the street into the back of a U-Haul. Not plowing it. Not clearing sidewalks. No sanitation logos. No city trucks. They were filling the rental and shutting the door. The woman filming said she was too stunned to process what she was watching. Why move snow in the middle of the night? Where is that U-Haul taking it? And the bigger question… what exactly is in that snow?

A major snowstorm in the USA is just beginning. ⚠️ In a belt stretching from Evansville through Pittsburgh to Boston, 30 to 60 cm (12 to 24 inches) of snow will fall in the next 30 hours alone (see the video showing the development of the snow cover):❄️☃️ Millions of people will experience significant snowfall, and transportation will remain paralyzed.
