I know too much history and have too much love for Black Americans to regulate our entire story to slavery. We are bigger than slavery. Slavery is a institution created by white identifying immigrant men. They call it prison today. There are more Black Americans in prison today than were in slavery. Slavery is not the story of all Black Americans. There were more of us fighting back than enslaved. There’s a war called the Gullah Geechee war that lasted over 100 years that they try and erase from history because that War was the beginning of the end of our autonomy. That war helps tie up and expose some of these lies they teach our kids every day.

So as it turns out white people are not the problem and we never have been. America tried to give black people their own country and they immediately turned back to slavery. And not to mention there are over 7 millions slaves in Africa today. If you want to talk about slavery then you need to go help free the people from slavery that are currently living in it! Or else you can sit down and shut up because we know you're being disingenuous!

Some are now mad that President Trump took black history out the schools, but this woman said she’s glad and proud of him for doing it and he will always be a winner in her eyes.: “Why we don't teach these little black kids how they people before them invented so much things that we are using today. They did not, they never teach him that, they just teach him slavery slavery, slavery. Black history is part of American history…”

And the wealth that built America including what helped finance monuments like the Statue of Liberty’s pedestal came from an economy powered by enslaved Africans. We didn’t just witness history. We were the foundation of it.

Rev Mike Keller’s history of slavery remix: Enslaved Black people (“The Blacks”) didn’t protest against injustice in Washington DC like Black people do today (I guess they couldn’t get the time off). “The Blacks” waited patiently for the “good people” on the plantation (those good ole racist rapists and slaveholders) to introduce them to white Jesus. “The Blacks” then “humbled themselves” (Black people needed to show humility, not the white people who enslaved them because they considered them inferior) and repented to white Jesus for their “wicked ways” (the enslaved Black people were “wicked” but white slaveholders were “good people”). Having forgiven enslaved Black people of their wickedness and answering the sincere prayers of the good white people, white Jesus abolished slavery. The moral of the sermon is that Black people don’t need to protest against the injustices of white supremacy, just wait patiently for good racist white Christians like Rev Keller to pray to white Jesus on their behalf and eventually everything will be alright. White evangelicalism is white supremacy.

Most people think slavery only happened in the South... but in 1851 nearly 500 Mormon settlers brought dozens of enslaved people to California, a state where slavery was already illegal, and never told them they were free. 👀 One of those enslaved people was a woman named Biddy Mason who walked 1,700 miles on foot from Mississippi, took her enslaver to court when she finally learned the truth, and died one of the wealthiest women in Los Angeles. There is a monument in San Bernardino honoring the men who built this city... but there is nothing honoring the enslaved people who built it?‼️🤔
